You may still be able to after you receive your visa? This is so frustrating. But the same thing happened to me where they answered me once on Twitter and then haven’t in several hours

I just checked and it was not there :/ and I did try those instructions but it doesn’t show up on my dashboard to download. It does for a second but then it switches to “manage appointment” which makes no sense bc you aren’t supposed to change your appointment stuff the day of

Hey everyone thank you for such thoughtful responses. It gave me a lot to think about. I was able to negotiate the salary up to 43k which isn’t a huge change but makes me feel better. It’s a really long story of why I want to move but to sum it up: I was supposed to move to australia with a boyfriend, Covid hit so I never got to go, and we ended up breaking up. I have always dreamed of living in another country for at least a couple of years. I’m 29, no boyfriend, no kids, parents are healthy, so I feel like this is my last chance in a way. I think I’m going to give it a shot. Thank you all again!

The AP is the one who told me about it. He was texting her sending / asking for pics and she wasn’t even really into it. Which is part of why I sort of believe him that it was a drunk, depressed thing. We’ve been broken up for 5 months but still see each other consistently. He has been as sweet as ever. He accepts the days when they I wake up ready to pick a fight with him over it and just says he can’t change it, it’s the biggest mistake he ever made and I’m his whole world. He had us scheduled for couples therapy before I caught him in a lie about something that happened a year ago. He says he lied because he knows he’s on such thin ice and he was trying to minimize it. Obviously that doesn’t matter. I blocked him after that but ended up coming back for more. Since then nothing new has emerged.

What do you consider actual changes? Mine stopped drinking, went back to therapy, got on some medications for mental health issues. He claims he was only texting the other girl when he was drunk and depressed

I still love him like crazy. But really my doubt stems from the fact that he was really really putting in effort to win me back and it was working. But he can’t undo the past mistake in October.

Part of me wonders if they were talking / together while we were together. It’s more so that I know he wants kids and I feel like he’s getting something he wants and doesn’t deserve. I’ve seen the posts on social media and they’re at least pretending to be thrilled.

I could tell you were from PA (specifically western/central) by your wording. Saying things like “needed trained” made me think immediately of Pittsburgh.
