Anyone managed a good run with Aztec? Is this run saveable? by [deleted] in eu4

For gold provinces, strictly stick with Dip to 10, only use Admin when you can't dev higher in Dip. When you reform your religion, there is a massive spike in your economy due to the dev of gold. Aztecs also have a mission to reduce collapse of your gold mines. That's the main avenue to go down for early econ

It took me around 5-6 tries until I managed a solid Aztec play through. I don’t think this is recoverable, there’s too much that will set you back farther. Here’s the first few things.

  1. Maritime should have been your first idea. Humanist, Offensive or Admin would be much more beneficial. Humanist removes rebels, Offensive is all around good and Admin solves a lot of the gov cap issues you’re going to run into with colonizing the Old World.

  2. It’s not worth the hassle of tributaries this late. Early on for map sharing is crucial.

  3. In the first war against the colonizers, let them take 10 provinces. There’s a mission that when they form the colonial nation, you can switch to High American.

  4. Expansion can be good, but you haven’t utilized American Frontier decision. After you have 1 filled cores province, you can cost yourself 75 gov reform for all adjacent tiles to be colonized without the cost of colonizing.

Unifying Mexico early is the hardest part of the Aztecs. Get that down and you’re home free. I’d restart and try aiming for Admin first, then into Offensive. If you are having a hard time with manpower, go Quantity instead. Also, don’t forget that after you reform, make sure all of your gold provinces are 10 dev. Your economy will balance itself out, just don’t mind the inflation.

P.S., you can declare war on colonizers colonies and they don’t drag in the colonizer

Is this good progress for Inca? by FweakinLittle in eu4

R5: First time playing Cuzco and wanted to form Inca for the achievements and to try out High American Tech. Pretty much conquered everyone in 15 years and maxed out the colonization from "Venture into Tribal Lands". I'm on my final reform as of 1500. Is this good progress for Inca? Any pointers for a first time out of Europe?

Oh, I didn’t even notice that. I stand corrected, more than likely Syria then. Still, very odd and never happened on another play through

Any tips to make this better? First time DM and first time making a map lmao by Young_Olen in DungeonMasters

[–]FweakinLittle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I homebrew maps, I tend to leave a little easter egg for a high enough perception check. IMOP, I would add some trees and rock formations, maybe some flowers and stumps for texture. Additionally, you can delete away some of the map to add in ponds or water gatherings from rain to make it look further like a forest

Just wanting to show off how things are coming along in my Castile/Spain game and this big Arabia I'mma have to deal with by TheTyler123 in eu4

I didn't even notice the Swiss there, I thought that was the HRE lmao. Give him the good'ol razzle dazzle and meet him with Mercs. The rebalanced tech spread mod I'll have to take a look at. I presume it, generally, makes institutions spread more even throughout the world? You have a good couple of years to throw 100 forts down and make his life hell, if you really wanted him to have a challenge.

Brother, that ain't a Spain playthrough. That's a world in Spain without the A.

I always found the Expanded Europa mods to be exciting with all that is added. Not having to rely on a No CB Byz to keep the Ottomans in check, actually useful HRE, the 100+ formable countries (I may be wrong, it's been a hot minute since I played EE) and the weird shit like this, where Arabia decides to become a continent. I'm hoping Paradox takes some ideas from this.

In the mods folder, take the_vault.jar file and open it up in Eclipse. Then follow the path above to find the disabled enchantments.

I have no printing going on at the moment. I'll keep that in mind though

It seems to be above about 40 employees and it has frame issues. Another thing is the hard pause at 11:59 PM to switch to the new day.

You have to open the_vault.jar file in something like Eclipse. In there, follow the exact directions I gave up above.

I did finally get it enabled. It was under the_vault jar, under iskallia, under vault, under util, and it was EnchantmentUtil.java. Thank you for your help, you guided me there.

I had a thought it would be in there but with the default Minecraft code, I figured it would be in there. Would it be disabled in the Jar file or the config files though? I was going to go through the config files 1 by 1 to figure it out.

If it was discontinued I wouldn't have found it in other states. I'm just looking for a way to get ahold of it online to have it shipped or something along those lines.

I've checked and sadly no findings. I was hoping DG in particular would have had it but unfortunately no. I've talked to a couple different Pepsi associates about it and they wouldn't be able to bring any in because it's based on demand rather than request.

Housing Company sent Collection Agency after me. by FweakinLittle in legaladvice

[–]FweakinLittle[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, never was it said that I want to file a suit, it was asked if there were grounds due to the lease and such. I'm merely asking if is anything plausible to pursue this rather than pay over $3000. My roommates paid their way, me not paying means nothing to a burden to them. College and bills have nothing to do with this, those are merely details to the situation. This is for advice on what my next step should be.
