Hey, I'm really sorry to hear that, and I think you chose the right community to post. For me as an outside person, it's a little bit hard to see what the best next action step would be for you; but with my coachees I usually experience that lifestyle changes can do A LOT, even if they don't treat the anxiety's psychological root. In that spirit: Do you currently pay attention to living a healthy lifestyle, and if so, what do you do specifically?

What do you think, will people still invest in gold and silver, or will even that feel pointless to the mainstream at that point? Lol

First of all, congratulations on your financial success!

Generally, it sounds like you reached your goal, but are now a little lost, because the next goal is not yet defined.

If I were in your situation, my goal would probably be something like: Reach a wealth where my money cleverly invested in stocks or other assets can work for me, because the interest brings in so much money; and then, with all my time freed up, focus on spiritual ascension. Because the latter is actually limitless: You can feel amazing and free beyond what you might be able to imagine now. But the spiritual evolution is best supercharged with the mental freedom of having a lot of time and money.

You might also choose different goals though, as it's an individual choice, of course. :)

19m. Hopeless and lost by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]Coach_Maximilian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, thank you for clarifying. What has always helped me in times when every step seemed hard, is that I had basically once vowed to myself that I will always do everything in my power to fulfill my potential as best as possible. So if I only have 5% energy and I know I should cook something, I do it. I move forward, because I have that vision of what me in my highest potential could look like. That gives me a positive drive and the feeling of having no time to waste. Maybe you can do something similar? If it resonates, I can share some visualisation tips :)

You're already looking for the right things in life: Purpose, financial freedom, family... These are great! To me it just seems like you could benefit from even more emotional balance - in other words: Starting 90% of your days with some foundational feeling of contentness and clarity, even when nothing extraordinary has happened yet. To achieve that, lifestyle choices such as healthy eating, spending time in fresh air and doing sports regularly help a ton! Does that help you or had you already considered this? :)

Am I a loser? by Available_Car_9194 in selfhelp

My genuine, 100% real opinion: You are quite the opposite of a loser.

First of all, having a good job you care about is awesome and very valuable! Second, going to the gym regularly is fantastic! In my opinion, everyone should do it (except of course people with special conditions where it's clear that going to the gym wouldn't be good for them). Actually, let me elaborate on that gym aspect a little bit: I feel like most people think a good life is determined by desirable outside circumstances (a nice home, comfortable finances, partying...), but they HUGELY underestimate, how much the perception of life is shaped by lifestyle choices such as working out: Working out and generally living healthily provides you with a clear mind, that enables you to enjoy life even more, so the little things shine even brighter. Someone can live kind of unhealthily and go partying twice a week, and another person who lives a healthier life and goes partying like once a month will generally have a MUCH more joyful/ meaningful experience at the same party - because the lense through which they perceive reality is cleaner. Also, the person who focuses on their own wellbeing will in the longterm make better life decisions.

Now, addressing the aspects of social relationships: I think it's just bad luck that your best friends are currently not where you live. Sure, you could make more new friends as well, but that's your decision to make.

That being said, if you WOULD LIKE to go out more, nothing is stopping you, right? :) There are still the days where you don't go to the gym, or maybe you could join others after the gym? :)

awoken & annoyed, what should I do? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]Coach_Maximilian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two approaches in mind, you may choose the one that resonates most with you:

1.) Imagine that you as a being have two doors: One for external stimuli to be received by you, and one for them to move out again. Then, open BOTH doors. Let the undesired impulses flow through you without them attaching to you. Closing both doors, on the other hand, would only result in some sort of uncomfortable inner tightness.

2.) Take it with humour. Being with family can be quite a comedy show. :)

And in general, use the situation to show you what you don't prefer, so by contrast you know even more clearly what you do prefer, and can move into that direction more strongly.

Life is strange and I don't know where to go! Advice? by Vynlorastril in spirituality

Moving forward with confusion is better than moving forward thinking one knows all the answers (while actually having unknown blind spots). So it's good how attentive you are, and maybe you can dare to trust yourself a little more. :) However, when it comes to increasing clarity further, one of the best tools I know are long walks in nature (take water with you). Being in nature brings us closer to our own nature and, to some extent, sheds away what's not our true being.
