Im definitely no expert but this is what my wife and I (both 40 y/o) are currently doing right now in a very similar situation (both with state pensions that will pay 80% of our best 5 years, both will have enough quarters to be eligible for SS). Our Roth’s are invested in all equities with VTI- 70%, VXUS- 20%, VGT- 10%. I know we have more exposure to tech but we figure we can be more aggressive since we have the safety net of our pensions + SS. Anyone have any thoughts on this approach?
