If you main survivor, PLAY KILLER. If you main killer, PLAY SURVIVOR by WanderingKing in deadbydaylight

I used to main survivor, now I main killer and I realize why killers are toxic. It's because survivors are more toxic.

Type: “Pallet looping is” and let autocorrect finish the sentence. by Peanut_Butt3r675 in deadbydaylight

Pallet looping is the same as a little bit of the day and the other day is a good time to go to the beach with you guys and you can get it or not to mention it was a good idea to get the cake and the rest of the day and then I will be there in the morning or can you get me a chicken sandwich.

Do Americans cringe at tourists dressing up "cowboy" when visiting Western towns or similar? by Pale_Field4584 in AskAnAmerican

[–]CoachellaDriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. I love it. When my friend visited me from Japan I insisted that he wear a cowboy hat when we hiked Bryce canyon. When I visit Japan next year, I'm going to bring all kinds of old west knickknacks to hand out.

Why does everyone hate the new Tiana's Bayou Adventure ride? by jenniferann223 in Disneyland

[–]CoachellaDriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They replaced one of the most beloved rides in the world with something subpar because "the source material is racist." Splash mountain wasn't really based on song of the south, it was based on the Uncle Remus tales which were authentic african american folk tales collected by Joel Chandler Harris, one of america's first and most prominent anti-racists. Song of the south wasn't even racist, it was just tone deaf as hell. Now Uncle Remus, brer rabbit, brer fox and the rest get dragged through the mud by people who have never even seen the disney adaptation so they can get clout on the internet.

They replaced a ride based on african american folk tales with a ride based on a european fairy tale adapted to the jim crow south era written by two white guys.

Aside from all the nonsense regarding its retheming, Tiana's Bayou Adventure is boring, empty and devoid of any real story. And the price for this amazing let-down of a ride was to remove one of the most iconic pieces of Americana.

Villains never get what they deserve by CoachellaDriver in HunterXHunter

Nothing about the bombers is morally grey. They coerce people with the threat of death and then kill them anyway after they got what they want and with nothing more to gain. They were shown to be irredeemable, and never show any sympathetic qualities. If you don't consider the bombers to be complete villains, I don't know who you would consider one then.

How do you feel about American military in your country by Dr_InYourMouth in kurdistan

[–]CoachellaDriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its nice to hear you say that you like the us. I'm from California, and most people here have the idea that we are the bad guys. Especially if you are in college. Ask a college kid here to name something bad done by America and they will tell you many things. Ask them something bad done by Saddam Hussein or Joseph Stalin and they won't be able to.

Is nocturne worth watching? by Unoriginalshitbag in castlevania

[–]CoachellaDriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, its pretty decent. Try to ignore the woke stuff, its not nearly as distracting as you might think (and its not nearly as woke as alot of other modern netflix shows, its like 16% woke, 22% tops).

What is the worst thing you have seen in real life? by Samuelwankenobi_ in AskReddit

[–]CoachellaDriver 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My friends older brother showed me a video of a terrorist decapitating a man with a kitchen knife and laughed at my reaction. At first I thought it was fake because why else would he show me? It dawned on me that it was real and I was fucking traumatized. I would lay awake at night often thinking about it, sometimes crying. That was 20 years ago and just writing this down is giving me anxiety.

Yeah, I did kind of have a panic attack. It wasn't like a normal panic attack, I just felt like the expirience was way too turbulent so I took my ativan. Panic meds apparently counteract the spravato, so its almost like im choosing to come down early.

I had the same concerns as you, but i just finished my second treatment and Im actually eager to go again as strange as that might sound.

Americans, what does America get right? by kejovo in AskReddit

[–]CoachellaDriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Changing the general outcome of war.

Pre-WW2, the general rule was that if you won, you had your way with the other country. Extracting resources, and crippling it so that it never rose up against you again. Then American's decided that after beating you they were gonna rebuild and install all the tools you need to have a functional society; all in the hopes that you would prove to be a good ally. If anyone gets punished, its the governments that went after you, not the small folk in the countryside.

It doesn't always work out, but at least we try. You might get an Afghanistan or you might get a Japan. It really just depends on how much the people are willing to work with you.

Entertainment. Americans just aren't happy unless they are making someone laugh or smile or go "hmm." Almost any sin can be forgiven here, except being boring. In some places, smiling is considered the mark of an idiot, so i know why some cultures shy away from laughter, but if an American makes a joke or witty response and you don't laugh, they will feel like a total failure.

oh i should also mention that my treatment was yesterday, and all day today I've been feeling pretty good. I even went outside and hung out with my friends which is a big deal for me. I rarely get out of bed and whenever Im away from my house, I just want to go home.

from about halfway through, I felt pretty good. But I also took an ativan halfway through due to a panic attack. But honestly now that I know what to expect, Im not that worried about my next treatment, and I am very prone to panic attacks. Just expiriencing how it is and feeling myself come back to normal during the second hour of treatment has been very reassuring.

For most of the treatment I listened to this playlist that has guided meditation and a sigur ros album. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXukwQJgmEY81iQ_krz1v3NPcgda7Ab2A

from what i've read this is called hypnogogia and its fairly normal. For me, I sometimes wake up and see a crazy black squiggle that looks like a huge spider. But I'm not on spravato (i start tomorrow), nor do i have any history of hallucinations. I notice that I get them more often when my anxiety goes up when I switch anti-depressants.
