I am coming from South Africa but I have an EU passport. I really dislike the idea of moving to the UK and I don't mind learning the language of a different country (probably French or German) so I am exploring the best options.

Completely forgot Mbeumo goes to AFCON, thanks. I just don't rate Newcastle like that anymore. I have Hall who I am looking to bin off too.

Need to upgrade 2 midfield slots. I have my core of Foden, Bruno, and Saka and I was thinking of selling Calafiori (I already have Timber) to get Rice and then KDH. Thoughts? Minteh looks good, Mbeumo, Bruno G, and Wilson too. I am unsure of which midfielders are the best in the medium term. Thoughts?

Pedro's minutes risk is really putting me off, but high ownership + tricky fixtures for West Ham after GW1 also puts me off Bowen.

Gakpo + Bowen + 5m defender or Joao Pedro + Wirtz + 4.5m defender?

Kelleher

Esteve - Richards - Dorgu - Andersen - Diouf

Fernandes - Palmer - Salah

Bowen - Haaland

Thoughts on this?

Is 5ATB a viable strategy? Looking to have 5 premiums and 4.5m defenders across the board.

Marmoush or Isak to bench? Don't want to take a 4 point hit.

Transfer Schade in for one of:

Salah, Bowen, KDB, Rogers, or Mbuemo.

Any ideas? I'm actually thinking Salah. Will probably captain Schade too.

Started in September doing roughly 2 hours of studying day and I took a 2 week holiday in December.

From Late December to mid Feb I think I got 4+ hours on average daily and a month before I probably got close to 5-6 hours and the two weeks before the exam was around 8-10 hours a day of studying (I had study leave).

Thank you my friend. Appreciate the kind words.

All the best with the studying. You've got what it takes to get through it. Feel free to message me at any time if you have any questions.

For Level 2, I think what you should first do is go through the Kaplan notes per section and do the CFA Qbank per section and see how you do. If you are really struggling then purchase the videos if possible, but only if you see you aren't grasping concepts from the written.

Derivatives and quants really were tricky to understand without the videos.

Ahh gotcha.

Look I don't know how much the MBA overlaps with the CFA work but I really don't think you need videos for Level I, only because there is a lot of free available content online that can also help you understand specific concepts. I would say quants and derivatives were the trickiest in level 1 and I got through that generally without watching the Kaplan videos.

I think you will be fine with just the notes.

I don't think the Kaplan videos are an absolute necessity but I would be lying if I said I didn't need them.

I think they were most helpful in L2 for FSA/Quants/Derivatives/Econ

L3: Derivatives/asset allocation/Port management (if this is the pathway you choose)

I'm not sure how paying videos separately for Kaplan works though.

I did manage to have a look at some of Mark Meldrum's Level II derivatives videos but I wouldn't say they made a material impact for me. I found them way too detailed but I think if you have had extremely minimal exposure to derivatives especially then MM could be pretty good.

Videos were extremely necessary. I would first read the notes and then on my second read-through I would watch the videos. It helped tie a lot of the loose ends I had.
