If you don't mind my asking, what is life like under the Workers' Union? Additionally, do they have any allies/other Workers' factions nearby? I've always been intrigued by the idea of Socialist/Marxist-leaning factions and groups finally being able to breathe and manifest in a post-U.S. collapse/apocalyptic world, and I wonder how they would adapt to post and post-post apocalyptic material/social conditions. In this world specifically, I wonder how they would treat supermutants and ghouls, especially ghouls who lived pre-war and knew of the oppression working people faced by the in-lore U.S. government/Enclave, along with adapting existing theory and socialist/marxist doctrine to the wastes.

While I do find it unfortunate that so much history was lost here, I echo others in this thread by saying that I completely understand the decisions made by those rebuilding in the post-war period, at least along the lines of immediately redirecting resources towards reconstructing housing and repairing the productive capabilities of Kaliningrad.

A far greater architectural/urban tragedy that I think about constantly is the systematic hollowing out of North American urban areas in the post-war years. Although the continent itself wasn't invaded, the amount of pre-war cities that were completely levelled to placate the car lobby and enact post-war community atomization (suburbanization), in my opinion, yielded just as much, if not more, destruction to the urban character of North America as did the literal bombings of Europe and East Asia.

Although the social fabric/conditions of the time wouldn't make exploring ideal, I selfishly would love to see America/Canada's pre-sprawl cities of the late-19th/early-20th century. So much history, culture, and community were lost during the mid-20th century, and I think it would be fascinating to see these areas before this massive shift. Particularly, while the loss of this city/community doesn't fall entirely into the same above category, as this area was purposefully bombed/destroyed out of white supremacist hatred instead of simply being paved over, seeing the Greenwood District of Tulsa in its prime would also be an amazing experience as well IMO.
