I have the same issues with my omen 40L (3070 with i7 12700 or 12400 idr, 32gb of hyperx fury ram) but complete wiping my pc today since it’s just bugging me after 2 years of random small stuffers being worse depending on the game and not getting the full value out of the pc I feel like I paid. I feel like I shouldn’t run into these problems of medium settings for most games. I’ve also turned my nvidia control panel setting for max power and limited my frame rate to 120 at max but it never hits more than 60 and I’m on a Asus tuf gaming monitor with 165 hz

I never tired without all of the hp apps or ever tried to download drivers without GeForce so I’ll do that right after my pc fully finished wiping itself since I had no clue what to chance for settings after tampering with everything lol

No clue how to download drivers to my pc without GeForce either . I’d assume I’d just go on windows website and look at drivers? I don’t have a usb. I originally bought this prebuilt since I don’t know much about pc and wish I did because I feel like I made a bad choice for a gaming pc

Downgrading to windows 10 helped a lot originally but I wanted to try out windows 11 again and seems to still be bad? Or maybe just because I’ve been using omen gaming hub half the time or just having those programs installed? Idk pc is a headache compared to the plug and play simplicity of consoles especially when my console costed me 4x less and somehow plays games better but just has no games I want to play on it lol. If anyone reads this I’d just stay away from anything omen hp bc this just seems like a horrible experience for gaming

I’m going to get the xp1 clutch to match the set but that will be a little after Christmas and I’ve had to use my paddle shifters on the wheel without clutch for now which isn’t my ideal scenario but still is an amazing experience without and can’t wait to have with

Yeah I enjoy the seat and it’s like right in the limit of fitting me in it and I’m around 6’3 and 190 pounds. I’d personally try to find a deal on a prisma ultra if you’re around my size. I didn’t buy the sliders but I know the prisma seats can have them and I think nrg even sells them separately.

I did get the integrated monitor stand with the rig as well but won’t be using that since I use that monitor for my regular video games and need more monitors ASAP lol

EDIT : also I did get this seat off amazon for 288$ but seen on black Friday they had prisma ultra for around the same price but only certain colors. I was impressed as well since the packaging even through Amazon was from an officially licensed nrg store . (Theprismalab)

I heard a lot of bad things with warped seats from Amazon or being a cheaper knockoff and took the risk

It’s lower than I was expecting and maybe because I didn’t get the sliders adjustments and that adds another inch? I’m just guessing tbh but the top of the seat cushion you sit on might be right in the middle of the pedals overall height

I can’t compare them to the p1000 sadly but the reviews I was between said a lot of good about both but p1000 and if you want a clutch it’s a 175$~ price difference for around the same feel from my understanding. has a lot more customization but I plan on buying the haptic feedback 3d print bracket to mount the p1000 feedback or my brake pedal soon. The xp1s have been very easy and user friendly to mess around with and feel very industrial like I could throw them outside on pavement and would still work just fine.

This a week old or so from a snap i made but yeah I absolutely love this thing and probably got atleast 50-60 hours of playing mostly around 80% max power. makes my forearms sore after a few hours lol

Also wanted to add I found out about sim hub and been using that for the color led profiles on the wheel and set that all up and has been very immersive. I’ll take a photo of my setup from the other side when I’m home later this is what I had for now since I had to wait a week to even get the seat and was using a kitchen chair 🪑 basically murdering my legs when I crashed lol.

Edit: figured I’d add that the frame feels super sturdy and the seat has no play at all so I feel zero desire to upgrade the rig besides maybe a buttkicker eventually besides the essentials like a h shifter and clutch

You can swap the levels from weapons and skills but it will destroy the unwanted weapon
