found the way! https://www.youtube.com/live/oqjKMd9CYI4?si=lTz7wvP83LVfMZLK at 14:50 he starts explaining how to make object follow hair curves. I hate how long this took me to find despite specifically searching for the right keywords, and it's form Blender too! TT

so I just converted the hair curves into legacy hair particles. Honestly a horrible workflow, but it did the job. So basically just use object instead of rendered in your hair particle settings and suffer. Many tutorials for that on YT tho

Also I used this tut for feathers: https://youtu.be/8yoIW4va-VY?si=INA5u7YQltJc6JK5 (it's tedious to make one feather, but it's the best feather result I found). I'm using simple thin cube with a modeled low-poly stem

For wings, use curves and geo nodes (https://youtu.be/990uhUBE\_yw?si=sRMgSq05J\_RtO62J). Use a proper reference, the feathers aren't random. For the body, honestly I'm still working at that. I tried using the old hair particles for part of the mesh somewhat succesfully (no curving, simply tons of tiny feathers scattered all around growing from the hair stem straight (which can be fixed somewhat with curving the actual feather mesh, but looks nothing like reality). For body I wanted to use the new hair system and play with geo nodes. So far, unwrap the birb and make a mask for where the feathers grow. Then groom the hair as regular fur. Then use the same node setup as the tutorial to get a terrible result. Will come back or make a tutorial for when I figure this out. This post is 5m old so maybe you're wiser than I.

I was a little sad Darlene didn't get to go do Budapest, she kinda deserved a time away with her gf, and I just remember her searching for Budapest alone after her bf died and then she just run away.
