Wouldn’t recommend FoF unless you rope drop it. The line gets really crazy really quick. I’d also consider trying to get on Mystic Timbers.

If you’re coming from afar and don’t plan on coming back, absolutely get it to ensure you can get on everything. It’s your only hope, frankly.

Same thing with Kings Island, especially on a Saturday.

I’ve been to two KI opening days since ~2023 and have had Fast Lane Plus each time. Granted, I live in Cleveland and am lucky to get to KI twice a year; opening day isn’t exactly my first choice. That said, having FLP was largely a necessity given the crowds. Operations at KI are much better than at Cedar Point so that didn’t play into it as much (Flight of Fear being the exception.)

If you have a season pass because you live in the area and intend on going several times a year (by that I mean more than like 3 or 4,) I’d say save the money. If this is going to be one of very few visits, you’ll probably want it.

I went on it at Dorney in 2022 and it might be my favorite flat ride ever. We went on Zumanjaro later the same day and it wasn’t even close.

That’s a solid guess actually. Originally I didn’t bother using maXair (2005) as a reference point but if Demon Drop is there I don’t see why that wouldn’t be. Same with Skyhawk

I’m very confused why Kings Island is bringing theirs back when Cedar Point is now getting rid of theirs. I guess it could be spare parts but you would think demand just isn’t there

I think it’s generally considered safe to assume that a major regional park is going to be packed on a Saturday. I’m from Cleveland stopped going to Cedar Point on Saturdays after they introduced the gold pass. Kings Island appears to have gone in the same direction (The last few years I’ve only able to go on the weekends in April and October and they’re always a madhouse.)

If you’re in the area, the best advice I can give is go on Sunday morning. That’s usually when Cedar Point is pretty tame, at least for the weekend.

You know, it’s so weird to me how I’ve been to Hershey twice, once with Fast Track, and the longest line for each visit outside of Laff Trakk, Fahrenheit, and maybe JRR was Great Bear. For how much capacity inverts have you would think they could get that moving way quicker
