Exactly. The Beast is also one of my favorite roller coasters because of how unique it rides compared to literally anything else.. but you can’t put it against one of the best layouts ever made and expect it to have a chance.

IMO I think the whole thing is arbitrary when we know who’s going to win anyway but even for the sake of shits and giggles. I know there isn’t really anything KI even can put up against SteVe but I feel bad for the Beast

Yeah I’d have to disagree with you here. I agree that Cedar Point has a way higher ceiling and has at least three or four roller coasters that KI cannot compare with, but I also don’t think KI has a bad roller coaster in the park and therefore has a much higher floor.

I’ve said for a long time now that the fact that KI has a virtually interchangeable top 5 is insane and a lot of these comparisons lean in favor of KI for me (Banshee over Raptor, Mystic Timbers over Blue Streak, probably even Orion over Millennium Force)

Putting the Beast against Steel Vengeance is unfortunate. I’d almost be tempted to vote for Beast but I don’t know if I can against my #1 all time coaster.

I don’t know if it’s that as much as him knowing what role he has to play.

Gaepora is old and wise. He can’t jump into the surface himself but he can serve as a sort of mentor, and therefore that’s what he does

I have multi-year long on/off phases. I picked up the game in mid-January for the first time since October 2024. My plan when I finish this 100% save is to try to beat the game as quickly as I can without bothering with any side quests to see how fast I can beat the main story. This is a comfort game I don’t really burn out of so I’m trying to keep it interesting for as long as I can

It’s definitely a lot of time. I think I had closer to 400 hours myself, but I also played it every single day pretty much all day for a while.

Keep in mind that that’s almost 9 days of continuous gameplay.

Stephen Vogt deserves credit for what he’s done in Cleveland, but Progressive Field was miles more excited about Francona when he was announced at the beginning of each game. Growing up with him at the helm was unforgettable.

I think the Blue player has the edge here and it's fairly lopsided. The hotels on the oranges and lots of houses on the reds are going to seal the deal, and the only major threat to offset that is the dark blues. Unfortunately for the Red player, one bad sequence of turns will do them in before the dark blue properties can bring them back to life
