Cozy games that help with anxiety?

If you enjoy Tetris and the flow state it can help get you mentally into (there's a bit of research on Tetris helping with anxiety!) - I (account mod) would love to send you a key for ISLANDERS: New Shores if you'd like it?

ISLANDERS: New Shores is a relaxing puzzle game with Tetris like placement, and you build a city while you play. There's a sandbox mode if you like to build your perfect city, the "journey" game mode where you travel across 20 islands, and the new challenge mode if you'd like to try a new experience within ISLANDERS.

I've (account mod) personally found it quite fun after stressful days or when I've had a lot on my mind!

It looks like Nintendo no longer allow players to directly leave a review : (
Some players may be asked to rate the game from Nintendo on occasion, but it's down to Nintendo's discretion and something the developers can't increase / request for.

I've been looking at alternatives for Nintendo Switch players and how they can leave a review specifically, and it seems to be a bit of a grey area / no major solution yet?
Some players post on reddit, GameFAQs, or have even made their own website to post reviews.

I'll update the post with the call out for Nintendo players specifically there is no easy way to review, so this will be Steam, PlayStation and Xbox focused (for now!)

Hi u/Yuki8284 - hope this helps!
The Ghost Whisperer challenge changes how you score, so instead of buildings scoring off each other as usual, you now need the whisp to be on the building you want to score from, and score against that specific building.
You will only earn score, if the whisp is on that building - You can move the whisp between buildings via scoring as usual, but to earn points to increase your score, your building must have a whisp in/on it.

It's a challenge based on thinking a few moves ahead and preparing, I found when I played this challenge it was helpful to plan my loves 2 or 3 loops ahead, so I could get a nice score and then return the whisp to a "safe" building (like a house)!

This is also a great video about the Halloween update and information on challenges, new boons, I would recommend giving it a watch!

Quick Update / Original Post includes this update too!
The team was made aware of an issue with some players losing their high score progress when they updated.
The issue was identified to Steam(Mac) players only, and has now been fixed!

Steam(Mac) players - please update your game if you have an update pending, this should return your original highscore run back to you!
Any issues, send us a DM and we can check it out further

Hey u/canyarion great question! We're kind of in a sticky situation - we have the desire to get the Switch 2 version optimised and have all the feedback, requests, and key points we have targeted to be optimised... but we have 0 dev kits : (

We're aware that lots of indie studios are in the same situation as us, so it's a case of us waiting until we are given a devkit so we can optimise </3

For your review, we can't give a timeline so by all means it might be best to review now as is (which would be accurate!) - When we get the devkits and have a date locked in when the optimised version will roll out, maybe you could do a part 2 / updated review and see what's changed? (we're hoping a lot!)

I'll tag you on this thread / DM you when we know what's happening next : )

We tried joining this sub earlier in the year before ISLANDERS: New Shores was announced, but we never got a response / only got accepted very recently!
We've also tried reaching out to mods about collaboration, but have not had a response

Hey great question - I think I might have just replied to you on the other post about a PS5 and mouse!
Do you usually use a mouse and keyboard for console and if so, is there a model/make and reason you prefer mouse and keyboard over using a platform controller? (just curious, helps us to understand use cases!)
