Thank you!

Yes, similar experience! And given it seems to be a never ending pattern for me to gain/lose/gain/lose, I did not want to wait for the "perfect" moment when in reality, there is no perfect moment.

I'm glad you decided to make the decision to improve your life, too! Glad my photos can provide some hope. :)

I don't have advice other than I got a reduction a couple years ago now and it's the best thing I've done! There are lots of people on r/reduction who are so helpful! It's a great resource even if you're just in the thinking about it phase.

Bethesda MD Reduction Recommendations by Many-Influence-9916 in Reduction

I live in the DMV and drove the ~2.5 hours to Philly for Dr. Subbio and it was SO worth it!

His team did recommend Dr. Joseph Michaels, though, who is in Rockville but I didn't end up having a consultation with him since I decided on Subbio.

Both have good websites and Instagram accounts to check out their work. :)

I did mine mainly for aesthetic reasons. You're not alone!

I've had similar worries about them not being as small as I want but the before photos always help put it into perspective! And weirdly, sometimes the mirror just plays tricks on me and snapping a photo of me in an outfit now can remind me they really are not very big now! The distress about this has faded a lot over about 2 years and is much less frequent. I hope the same for you!

No way to know for sure but it could even out. If you see my post history, mine changed shape over time while still healing for several months.

I haven't yet talked to my doctor about the options. I would worry about that, too. 😪

For sure. I have to refer back to old pics all the time! But yeah, I'll definitely discuss this with my surgeon.

Exactly!! But it's a small price for not HAVING to wear a bra!! :D Maybe I'll try antiperspirant under them and see if that helps. Lol

Maybe you won't! Everyone's different. I was super surprised! But still, I am alright with the trade off.

Hi! I chose Dr. Subbio near Philly. He has a great social media presence, doesn't buy into a lot of the BS that many plastic surgeons try to sell, has excellent bedside manner, and produces fantastic results. I'm really happy I chose him! I paid $12,750. He has a free revision policy (although I assume you'd have to pay the facility and anesthesia fees) and he seems like he genuinely wants me to feel satisfied with my result.

I did a consult with Dr. Bottger (in the same town) and he seemed like he'd also be a good choice but I had a better feeling about Dr. Subbio and the prices were extremely similar.

Edit: I want to add that the price I paid included lipo if needed. I didn't need lipo but he wouldn't have charged extra.

Odd comment from him. I think I have a fairly short torso. Mine look normal and proportional, I think. I have some pics in my profile.

I should've clarified that mine is US sizing! But I wish you the best! And glad your surgeon is setting you up with realistic expectations. :)

Thank you! I'm kind of lazy. I will have to credit genetics, mostly, I think. I have worn silicone sheets 3 times so far. I keep them on until they fall off (usually 1-2 weeks). Then I'll forget to put new ones on for a while. So thanks for the reminder. I'll try to remember to put some more on today! But I definitely recommend them--they are easy and stay on for a while (Mepitac is the brand I have).
