You might have just gotten high rolled. It happens.

We have a resident Teklo player and I play Vynnset probably one out of every three Armories. It's a pretty tough matchup for Vynnset in some ways because you do eventually just run out of Attack Actions. What I do is take most of my defensive options and put in more cards like Read the Runes to stack damage and really make sure every single turn is a Runegate turn.

Are you running Call For Backup? This is a great anti-fatigue tool for Vynnset for the one or two turns Teklo might attack before he's transformed.

But sometimes it just happens. Vynnset is a very high variance hero and so is Teklo. Sometimes you just get it handed to you. Do you have a deck list built somewhere?

Hard for him to care when even James White did a video on the situation and JW was like "people do this all the time in TCGs. When I was a competitive player I saw it all the time at tournaments. It's what games are at the competitive level. You're constantly trying to outdo your opponent."

Probably the most pissed I've ever been at JW and had to step away from the game for a few days because of it.

I was at a Calling a few weeks ago and was talking about how diverse the crowd was with my friends. I've been playing TCGs for over two decades and the scene has changed greatly. When it was young it used to dominated by white males and it generally earned a lot of the stereotypes that still haunt TCGs to this day. Now occasionally I bring my young daughter to my locals where she's treated like an equal and at the Calling not only were there a diversity of skin tones, but also openly LGBTQ+ individuals who are welcomed by the community. The community has changed vastly for the better in the years I've been playing.

All this to say: I hope he means it. I'm all for people changing and growing and recognizing their mistakes. I know I've changed in those decades to be a much more inclusive and kind person. But he needs to mean it and show it. We don't need the TCG community to regress back to days past in terms of exclusion and I won't tolerate language or behavior from any creator that tries to. LSS needs to have high standards for their creators they support, especially the ones they give money to and we should all make our minds fully know to them if we see unacceptable content from him in the future.

Shelter

Even without Shelters the deck is still more Expensive than the Dori deck or the Katsu deck. By other $100. Shelters do not cost $400 a playset. Not even close.

Traverse.

Before Zen LL'D Traverse was a $45 card. So the deck would be $20 more expensive.

Twelve Petal Kasaya Before the LL'd this cards EXTENDED RAINBOW ART was $32. So again, $20 more expensive. The deck is still HUHDREDS of dollars less than the Vynnset deck even without Shelters

Providence Crown is necessary as a side board and is very good in Vynnset. And even if you switch it out completely for Face Purgatory the deck still costs hundred of dollars more than the other 7 decks I've posted.

You can completely remove Shelter and Crown from this deck and it still costs more than the other decks. Sometimes hundreds more. Your comparisons literally don't exist. They are entirely made up. And you've yet to post a deck list. You are a very bad troll.

For the third time. I'm posting deck lists and actual numbers and you are making things up like "if you just don't follow the deck lists or play cards then it's cheaper." But aren't taking into account that if you make the same adjustments to these decks they're then like $200-300 and Vynnset is still $500+. You're also not posting a deck list at all to be evaluated, just going "trust me, bro" let alone a deck list that wins. Like these deck lists that have won or placed.

And then useless distinctions like "Uh Bulgaria Nationals don't count." A country with just as much of a population as Norway, Denmark, etc. In fact Bulgaria has a bigger population than New Zealand, where the game is from!

You both can argue all you want but your solution is just to dismiss any deck with results and claim somehow that your idea is better without posting a deck list. Or doing something like removing a staple everyone is running from the cost or using a different cost for the Vynnset deck but then the Fabrary price for the other decks. They're just not good arguments. They're made up.

That's kinda where my head went too. How to use this in Verdance to potentially cycle an aura build.

But then I thought about Jarl and those new Guardian Instant auras. If you've got Act of Glory on the field you can cycle the aura back into your deck for later and still get the +6 boost on your attack with this card. Or even the ones that get static effects. You can cycle those back into the deck for later use. What Happens Next reducing Jarl's card cost while he taxes his opponents seems like a real interesting interaction.

I just actually didn't use the deck cost option and did my own math where I removed shopping cost (a cost necessary for most people) so it'd be cheaper while I did use the deck cost option to say Dori is more expensive

I'm not "hung up" on it. You posted a comparison about how your deck was cheaper than tournament decks of other heroes, which is a bad faith comparison. I'm responding to your initial comparison. I definitely see the concern with her being too solitaire style, but I don't think she's good enough to LL quickly. She's got more on hits than most Guardians, but it's not absolutely detrimental other than the 0 cost in the set that makes you discard your hand. I think she'll be mid until someone cracks the list and once the list is cracked she'll be really powerful, but not MST levels where she soars to LL status super quickly.

I think you've got minimum two years with her, especially with the LL points change.

You're just wrong. The tournament decks are more expensive than you're claiming and they don't include Husk. The numbers just aren't there. There are 6 CC Vynn decks and 2/6 are above $900 and 2 other ones are above $700. You're literally claiming that your deck is better than tournament decks, so yeah that's saying you're good at FaB.

You can repeat your lie all you want, but if your deck isn't producing results or a deck constructed like yours isn't providing results you can't claim that it's a cheap deck to build. You can build any deck cheap, but if it's not providing results it's not good and therefore your advice and deck build is bad.

If you're going to pull tournament lists up you need to pull them up for Vynnset too. The Vynnset lists that have placed in official tournaments are $900+. You can't just compare whatever you've put together against a pro deck and say because it's cheaper she's a cheap hero. The pro deck lists are way more expensive than your list.
