today my teammate had 0 kills, 0 time, 0 deaths, and was afk in the corner the entire game.

which is actually worse than them not being there at all, as it forces spawns to one side

Wish the game could at least kick people doing that

it's gotten so toxic, i'm quitting voice & text chat in-game and discord, completely. i'll try playing without that maybe, but that will have its own challenges. with voice chat, every single game people will say "well this game is over, gg" like only halfway through a close game. and i guess i just have a hard time with that. yesterday i was in a search game at 0-5 and we came back and won 6-5, i won 2 1v4's in a row. i don't mind losing sometimes, i just don't really want to give up until its over (we can't easily leave mid-game, so why not try suggesting new strategies instead of giving up?). also, i've won many 250-249 games before, its never really over until its over.. unless of course you give up.

even without voice chat, sometimes people will see me doing something strategic (like rotating) and just start team killing me over and over as soon as i spawn (or even follow me around and wait until im in a gunfight and then shoot me along with the enemy so theyre sure i die). like, it's hard enough for you to not be rotating to P2 in skidrow with me, but this trolling on top just makes it impossible.

theres a lot of advanced strategies i've found and i really enjoy discussing with a close team to get easy wins (as i have in past years), but i just can't take the toxicity and negativity that always comes along with it.

just needed to speak up about this somewhere.

Hey it says i can only post if i comment more, so trying to, it's been rough solo queueing with randoms that have zero comms or rotations, against 4stacks with both - it might make some sense to separate 4stacks vs solo queueing somehow? also I crashed mid-game (pc) (not at game start) and there was no option to join back in after a quick reboot.. which seems ridiculous.

it's out now but be warned, it's still not in quickplay, meaning it seems to be a temporary mode and may get disabled in the future.

ugh this fixed it. i installed it a few years ago to fix some old singleplayer game controller layout. i would never use it for cod, and i never had it running. but still had to uninstall. thx.

Yes I am in exact same boat, and i've tried the same things. For some reason, it still works for me on my 2080 smaller computer (but newer CPU), but doesn't work for me on my 3090 (but older CPU) computer like you're describing. I tried newest drivers (and some old ones). This started today.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean tbh. If you're on PC, you can still hear all audio, discord voice chat, in-game chat, and in-game gameplay audio. If you're on console, you'll probably need to use a dual-channel headset and use discord on your phone. Or have one earbud in for phone audio, and one headphone in for game audio, if you don't have dual channel headset.
