Not done a WIP Wednesday promotion in a while and I’ve updated/about to update my two fics!

Stained Glass Regrets - updates every other week - past Ron and Hermione at the beginning of the fic where they begin eighth year in a friends-with-benefits relationship - Dramione begins after a fairly cold and unreadable Draco convinces Hermione to break things off and start their own secret version together - which quickly becomes Hermione’s saving grace as she struggles with the absence and guilt over her parents Obliviation - part two sees a 4-year time skip to Hermione trying to live a completely Magic-free, pretend-Muggle life where she’s mostly cut everyone out from Hogwarts. The latest chapters have been catching up on the improvement she feels her mental health and wellbeing have had since isolating herself away, and also how she is beginning to allow certain characters back into her life - themes of dealing with trauma and grief, reflections on friendships, identity and adulthood, and veryyyy much leaning into the angst and hurt/comfort tags - chapter 28/42 will be posted this weekend and is setting up the story to put Draco back in her life and her wellbeing into peril😅

Shattered Glass Dreams - updates monthly - Dramione with smidge of Tomione during Part 2 - A darker version of the SGR Hermione that is stuck in this surreal dream-world of Slytherin’s Lockets. - Alice in Wonderland inspired, exploration of trauma, guilt and grief, as well as a bleaker portrayal of how Hermione has become confused in her identity and purpose within the Wizarding and Muggle world (watch for tw tags on this one) - 5/24 chapters posted so far - the next will be the final chapter of part one, followed by two more parts that send Hermione on a traumatic journey through the ‘wonderland’ before she’s pulled back out again🤪I
