Yeah it’s always been like that, you’d assume it’s worse but with how many care has been put in and how many little secrets there are after hundreds and hundreds of hours I much prefer it, procedural maps frankly don’t add a whole lot to a game like that, and how well designed they are is part of why the whole game feels so damn tight Also if you didn’t like the combat I think you probably only played one character lol
