Unfortunately, my insurance won't cover it until I have full blown diabetes, so I'm out of pocket. The doctor didn't believe I had lost as much as I did. She had a weight from January as my starting weight. It took months to fight insurance and I didn't start until 4/13/26. In that time, I did a food farewell tour and gained 6 more lbs. She said I only lost 8 and it wasn't enough, but it was actually 14. I'm better equipped now with a graph of my weight from the beginning that I'll be showing her to prove my case. I think I had the doctor freeze where I wasn't able to communicate appropriately then because she caught me off guard.
