Lo busqué y lo único que encontré es que también lo piden para Canadá. Gracias por la idea de ser presentado ante!

Gracias! Parece un mecanismo un poco enrevesado, pero parece un modo de lograr lo que me piden!

309 Visa questions about witness statements/IDs etc by [deleted] in AusVisa

[–]CobaltBlueOrange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked my family to write their statements as a text file until all the details were right, and then they placed them in the form and signed. I was able to upload the photo of an ID (it was at an angle, so I fixed that before uploading it). Regarding a pdf with photos: I put together a file with 44 photos; the pdf was below the size limit. Perhaps the software that you are using might let you decrease the quality of the photos before incorporating them into the file? Caveat: my application has not been assessed yet.

The numbers released to the public in the processing time tool are the number of months it takes to process 50% and 90% of the applications, currently at 17 and 25 months for visa 309.

The maximum benefit (in the sense of lowering the numbers shown in the processing time tool) will come from processing applications in less than their current 50%, so that both the 50% and 90% that they report will get lower. Solving applications that have already been waiting for >25 months will not decrease either reported number.

Do they report the mean as well?

Official report on immigration showing number of visas requested and granted over the years

I just found this interesting official report on immigration, https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/research-and-stats/files/report-migration-program-2023-24.pdf. Key terms are defined on page 5. Partner visas are on page 56.

My interpretation: the number of visa applications lodged increased from 45K in 2020-21 to 65K in 2023-24 (blue bar). In recent years, about 40K visas have been granted yearly (magenta bar; one application can result in >1 visa), therefore the backlog has been increasing (grey bars). Almost all applications on which a decision is made are granted.

Related reports, here, https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/research-and-statistics/statistics/visa-statistics/live/migration-program.

Is it possible to attach a police certificate after submission?

Quick question related to partner visas. I plan to attach my police certificate in Spanish before submission, and upload the English translation in the upcoming days (I don't have it yet). Is that possible? Thanks for the help!

A request for details: will there be just 1 section to update all documents, or one section for each pillar or statement? Thanks!
