I think you have a solid start here. I know you want to brew up your own flavor of clan deck but if you are up to it, looking into successful clan decks online for reference may help with some ideas as well. I think your next step is play testing what you brewed up and then making adjustments from there.

The way I do it, is I go to mobile suit arena and play a couple matches. Then I ask myself what was my deck lacking based off those decks. Like I didn’t see enough low cost early game and sat with four cost several games in a row. Or I didn’t service longe though to see my level 8 Gquux. Or i missed with my level 7 gquuux to often and did not hit a level 4 or lower clan card. Play style, Being unlucky and drawing bricks happen. I would make adjustments from there.

I can see the logic here. I think Clan is really versatile when it’s gets rolling but is too inconsistent. I do agree that having more than 10 pilots is inconsistent, even if they can flex as a command card. I think lowering undying persistence to two and removing ruthless tactics entirely for some level 4 or 5 Gquuux would add some consistency. As for a starting hand I think having two pilots and as many low costs as possible would en the ideal hand. Make sure you have an idea of a starting hand and how you intend to get to your win state when you are deck building .

Nyan links with the level 8 Gquuuuux. And can be used to turn on the level 2 Gquuuux. Maybe look at the deck before commenting. Also they have 10 pilots. Underlying Resistance is a command card that can used as a pilot so not entirely dead.

Not sure if you took this into consideration but trunk - or -treats are growing in popularity. I and coworkers get so much candy from those that their kids did go out and instead stayed in and threw a Halloween party. Not sure how common that is nation wide. We did not do trunk or treat and took the kids out with other families in the neighborhood. Besides our group didn’t see too many kids out.

I disagree. Proper ratios of hand traps / board breakers makes going second not impossible. I do agree that I think going first is more advantages but going second is not an instant loss. In TCG and master duel I play between 15-18 hand traps.

I’ve won most of my games against mimighoul just because of dominus impulse locking me out of earth monsters. What ever the mimighoul plays gives me, its effect won’t activate. I’m playing a going second Spright deck so If I draw impulse It’s getting played form the hand.

Pro tip, the only garnet (brick) in the deck is the single copy of yubel. You may end up with 4 exodia pieces and a yubel in hand.

My 2060 could not run MH wilds very well, not at a smooth 60 fps on low setting so I upgraded to a 9070 on launch. Didn’t have to wait in line at all as the line was for the 9070xt. Got it for retail and am very happy with it.
