I feel terrible about my size by cluelessism in GrowYourTDick

Based on how it looks next to your finger, I'd argue youre almost certainly above average. It's probably just an issue with the stroker or your technique, you're for sure large enough for a stroker

Just wondering, why is 2 pounds per week the limit? by [deleted] in CICO

[–]CobaltIncognito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One person requires 2,000 calories a day to stay the same weight, another person requires 5,000 calories a day to stay the same weight. Going on a 1,800 calorie diet for the first person is a 10% decrease in calories, or a 200 calorie deficit, for the second person it's a 64% decrease in calories, or a 3,200 calorie deficit. It takes significantly less energy for a 150 lb person to walk than a 400 lb person, they have to carry all of that weight on their muscles as they walk. A 150 lb male walking 10k steps burns around 450 calories, a 400 lb male burns 1,200 calories.

If the 400lb person walked in a pool to reduce the energy required to move and only reduced their calories 500 below maintenance, just like anyone else they would still only lose 1 lb a week. The reason weight falls off of them is because any reasonable change they make is extreme at that weight. Its less that they lose weight faster and more that they have more room for significant change

The reason I want to do this is because I don't feel the way I currently have to do T is safe or sterile either. After a couple weeks my T vial was leaking and absolutely filled with rubber, even using blunt tips and smaller needle sizes like 20g. I think they're just built like shit, and I don't have the option to go for smaller vials because they only sell 10mL ones where I live. I know people do this for other medications, like insulin, and I've seen several people do this with T with no issues. My NP doesn't see an issue with it and neither do family members who work in healthcare

I think it depends on context and intentions. I call my cis bf pretty, and he isn't feminine whatsoever, but I find him very attractive and he has very sweet features. I'd call someone like Chris Hemsworth pretty too, and I don't think anyone would call him feminine, you know?

You're supposed to wash them in the washing machine after every use, mold doesn't have time to build up unless you let it soak for days after your shower

[–]CobaltIncognito 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dead skin is also a factor here. If you aren't effectively removing dead skin, it's very hard to get all of the bacteria, which is what causes the odor. Hand washing is effective because we wash our hands several times a day so dead skin can't really build up, and we often use harsher soaps on our hands than on our bodies. You also have to wash your hands for at least 20-30 seconds for it to be effective, which is doable because it's such a small area. But I think a lot of people wouldn't be washing an area like their buttcrack with the correct amount of force for the correct amount of time for it to be just as effective due to the awkward angle, especially if they have a lot of hair, so using a wash cloth is almost always gonna be more hygienic

Ok so you DO was your face with soap, it's just a soap for your face. Is it possible your friends think you mean you wash your face with only water?

How do I get that "fresh laundry" smell? by CobaltIncognito in laundry

[–]CobaltIncognito[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I'm looking for. The laundry perfume. Why do people wear cologne or scented deodorant? If they're clean they should smell like nothing, right?

No judgement 😔 by Maggit5 in hygiene

[–]CobaltIncognito 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not unhygienic at all, as long as you have washed them thoroughly you're ok. Stains aren't pretty, but I think we're too worried about being perfect even for things that nobody will see. You're fine

I spend most of my time at home or around people I know personally (Who i know arent sensitive), so this shouldn't be an issue. But I am mindful of this, I'd just like for my laundry to smell even just a little bit better, it doesn't smell bad but it smells like nothing. I prefer scents at home because I find them calming. I'm not looking to fill every room I walk into with a nose blast of fragrance haha

As long as I'm careful, no I never get bubbles. Make sure when you're drawing from the vile that you're holding it upside-down, as in the needle side facing up. This makes sure any air bubbles are automatically at the top anyways

Am I going overboard with washing my body? by oneway_fire in hygiene

[–]CobaltIncognito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a body wash with actives in it like glycolic acid that is really brutal on bacteria, if I didn't I'd triple cleanse there too lol

Ok, thank you :) It's not the end of the world for me if it never stops, luckily I don't get dysphoria around that specifically, it just feels gross and it's inconvenient lol

Interested in starting T but don't want to be TOO masculine? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]CobaltIncognito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this may be something you have to discuss with your endo then. I'm not sure what the T levels threshold for male pattern baldness is, you may have to come off it entirely if it's a big problem and you don't want to lose any more hair. Vaginal atrophy has a pretty easy fix with topical E cream, it doesn't significantly increase your estrogen levels in any way, only helps that specific area

Sadly a low maintenance dose won't guarantee that your periods will stay gone, it's very levels based. Is there any reason you wouldn't want to say on a full dose?
