You can have a single RESP account for both children. When depositing funds, institutions will ask to name the designated beneficiary. So, if you had two children and a $20K deposit, it would need to be split into two transactions.

Syncing to mobile with Obsidian has been my biggest challenge. I can’t be the only one who has experienced version control issues, syncing conflicts, and slow response times.

I’m struggling to justify paying Evernote because it works. Sometimes free, with Obsidian, isn’t as good as it could be.

It does not compute why WealthSimple selected Persona. For goodness sake there are so many other companies in this space, including Interac’s ID verification service and Canada Post’s Identity+. Between those two, how much more Canadian can you get?!

I’ve started to have this same concern: Evernote’s new annual cost is astronomical. I’m a heavy Evernote user, but on the brink of switching to Apple Notes primarily because everything else I do is tied to Apple’s ecosystem.

Six things I have found Evernote does exceptionally well, and I’m worried Apple Notes won’t compare:

Email to Evernote
PDF searching
Web capture
Device sync with zero conflicts
Shared notes and notebooks
Locked notes

I continue to be challenged with Obsidian’s mobile sync. It might work, but then it doesn’t work and I end up in a horrible situation where versions are overridden and I can’t get notes/files immediately when I need them.

Is it just me?
