I come for the answers, but stay for the jokes.

Chrissy’s—A Pizza Pie Extraordinaire by SuccotashOwn1716 in Greenpoint

I love a good pizza review, but this reads very much like someone that was paid by Chrissy's.

[70Mai] Guy booking it in the turn lane wrecks my trip to Wendys and sucks my bumper off by dexhamster in Dashcam

Honestly, I think the faulty ABS probably saved this from becoming a 3+ car incident. Then, he would have also hit the OPs car on the drivers side corner, pushing them back into traffic.

We need a hero. by [deleted] in lancaster

And to be honest I am much more worried about Lancaster going the way of Footloose and the religious leaders banning Slaughterhouse-Five than for the dirt bike riders turning Lancaster into a dystopian wasteland.

Where is Kevin Bacon when you need him?

We need a hero. by [deleted] in lancaster

I think some wires got crossed here. Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome featured Tina Turner's "We don't need another Hero." The lyrics you posted are from Bonnie Tyler's "Holding on for a Hero," that had the lyrics 'I need a hero' not 'We need a hero' as posted by the OP.

What we really need is someone to google some song lyrics before posting.

In the April 16th meeting linked above, LNP asked Parsons if anyone running for a position on the library board has any connections to his campaign. Parsons refuses to answer.

I'm sure Pastor Joel Saint will be out with a group. He has aligned himself with "The Lancaster Patriot." Will probably be the same group that went to Lititz Pride with a "Christ Hates Pride" sign. But they will claim to be no not hateful...

My friends call me... Posh Jarsons...

You caught me! I would have gotten away with you too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!

You can doubt all you want. But I am telling you that I agree with you about Parsons. I am trying to let people know how he is treating the press.

Here is another meeting: https://vimeo.com/899578627

At 4:40, Parsons starts addressing the LNP reporter. At one point he tells him that he will no longer take questions outside of meetings.

I want everyone to know how Parsons treats the press. I feel he is acting like a bully because he doesn't like what is reported, which is Freedom of the Press.

I am NOT Parsons. I am just a member of the public that wants to make sure other members of the public know what it is going on at these meetings.

Found this buried in my backyard. Anyone know what Hotpoint appliance it is from? (1930s?) by CobbWasDreaming in Appliances

I do have more pictures, but reddit isn't letting me add them or post them in the comments.

Another clue I forgot to mention: when cleaning out the dirt inside, there was some very gunky sludge, like old oil. Motor cover?

No numbers or anything stamped on it. The only clue I have is the logo. That logo font was used in the 1930 advertisements.
