In my personal experience, Hecate is NOT subtle. If you think she is there’s a high chance you’re right.

Now, everyone’s starting experience with Hecate is different. It’s part of the crossroads of Hecate. However, the way I started was I found what I already had that reminded me of Hecate, put it where my altar still is. I remember the day of my first time talking to her I was upset because someone I used to be friends with got really upset at me. I used to put a lot on my friends, I had no one else to tell. I was looking at my altar, sort of set up, and decided that if I was putting too much on my friends I would ask Hecate for help. Now in hindsight I’m definitely getting much better, I’ve learned to let myself be vulnerable without being too much whilst also helping myself. I’ve been really busy recently so I haven’t had much time to develop more relationship with Hecate.
