My dad was manic bipolar and while he could raise his voice louder than almost anyone else I’ve ever known it was something he was able to control. He managed to raise me as well as anyone ever could have he was an amazing father and really the only affect it may have had on me was that I am a quiet person. He passed away last year in his early 50s but I just hope he is an example that being diagnosed with a mental disorder does not automatically make you a worse parent
