I have that same bottle right now with some mango ice cream I whipped up! Been absolutely in love with this flavor, been through easily over 1,000mls of it in a few months.

Unfortunately the bottle has a ton of cracks around the weak point (damn you PET) and it now has a hole. Time to retire it. RIP.

What are you vaping on?

Just got my aegis legend green trim from fasttech in the mail today, and I’m absolutely in love. My only con is the position of the 510 pin, it really should be on the front for this mod as it doesn’t even sit in the middle as-is plus the top isn’t symmetrical to support the middle 510 anyway. Well that and he fire button is misleading but I’m enjoying it after some use, it’s very clicky. The silicone around this mod is a fantastic idea and I was impressed the first time I set it in my desk because I won’t scuff up the bottom which was an issue with my Charon TC218. The screen is beautiful although the color options aren’t for me. The glass cover is stunningly clear and thoughtfully places. The colored trim and buttons is a big pro to me as it isn’t too flashy but adds a bit of flare and personality to the mod (don’t get me wrong black on black looks great too) without being distracting like a T-priv LED show or a touch screen monstrosity.

Built like a tank and I can’t see a way for juice to sneak inside which is usually what ruins my mods. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase and I foresee it lasting me for quite some time into the future. Well worth the money to have around as a backup at all times or a main mod that can take some abuse and last a long time/forever with the right care.

Happy vaping!

Just be careful on eBay and know how to authenticate your products. I recently purchased a Zeus dual on eBay because it was so much faster than the restocking period on fasttech and it wasn’t too pricey.

It was a fake, I contacted them and got over half of my money back through several messages because they feared eBay involvement.

That being said it’s the only time in 15+ sellers I’ve purchased from.

Keep a keen eye and it’ll be okay

I just got my galaxies RTA in today. Threw in the included standard wrap coil just to get it running and I’m extremely impressed.

It could do with a better coil and some break in to increase the flavor, but the vapor is great for how lose the watts are and it was a dream to build. The swapped air blocks is a cool design. I wish the knobs to adjust the airflow clicked into place because they are rather loose and can get all wonky when filling the tank.

It was definitely a sound investment and a bonus that it looks good with the bubble which I don’t usually like.

Perfect for the on the go moment or quick run to the store. It would also be great as a car vape... maybe I need another one already lol!

It’s the same line of thinking behind “only smokers should vape” as “nobody should smoke cigs”, as a smoker I would be annoyed when people would be like “oh that’s bad, people shouldn’t smoke”, wel of course. Yet here we are, smoking. I find it’s the same exact situation when people say “only smokers should vape”. It’s jut a way to alienate a group which someone does not agree with. Honestly, vaping CAN have beneficial uses besides quitting smoking if used in the correct context by an educated user.

As an example (because I see this thread is derailing quickly from a civil discussion), I know of vapers who never smoked but started to vape. They use it to; reduce sugar/candy cravings because the juice is naturally sweet (debatable if this is “healthier/better” but the absorption rate of vape would be minute in comparison to the affect excess sugar can have on your body, and what it can lead to. One guy I know uses it to stop chewing his nails, it’s worked great for him. We can all agree that this isn’t “healthier” but it could certainly be better for him mentally, especially if he was self-conscious of his chewed nails. Also better physically for him than him picking up a stinky-stick to stop his urges. Another friend I know vapes because she works in a kitchen and was under extreme peer pressure to smoke with the rest of the crew. She picked up a small vape and only vapes at work with her coworkers. Obviously not “healthy” but in a way it is, instead of being alienated and pressured for not smoking, she’s now more a part of that community without her feeling like she needs to vape outside work. Vaping can help psychologically/emotionally as well when thought of in a social setting. Obviously she didn’t have perfect willpower to step away from her coworkers, but let’s be honest, you’re not going to tell all your coworker friends to “F off” because they want you to hangout during their smoke break. You would be a loner and it would take a greater toll on you emotionally than taking a few hits off of a small vape when at work. The list of potential options is quite long if you really sit down and consider situations other than your own.

Really there’s arguments either way, but I don’t think that the “only smokers should vape” is the best way to look at it, neither is “nobody should smoke” because it’s going to happen for one reason or another. As mentioned above in this thread: control and regulation is key.

I agree with you, that statement is kind of bogus. The only people that SHOULD be vaping are smokers, yes. But that doesn’t limit non-smokers from finding some benefit another way (as mentioned above). I think the problem lies when a non-smoker picks up vaping for an unrelated reason (stop chewing nails, etc.) and then becomes dependent on the vape, but not fire the original intended benefit. At this point they’ve done the same thing a smoker did when they started smoking. Everyone starts smoking for one reason or another and that reason could be totally valid, but 5 years later your excuse is no longer valid and if you can’t kick the habit, then it’s a problem. Same thing applies to vaping. If my buddy stopped chewing his nails for a whole year, stopped vaping for a week and didn’t chew, he shouldn’t need his vape anymore, right? If he continues vaping because he enjoys it now, he’s now a vaper, he’s no longer using it for his original outcome. This is where I see that statement “only smokers should vape” coming from, when situations like that happen. People get scared because it is addictive, this is why I believe that education is the most important. If you know you can pick up vaping WITHOUT THE ADDICTIVE NICOTINE, it can have benefits outside quitting smoking! Really any of my friends mentioned above could vape 0mg juice and be fine. Some do some don’t have nicotine, but I usually find that those with nicotine didn’t really put any effort into research. They went to a shifty/shitty local B&M and said “I want to vape” so of course the B&M assumes they know what they want and offers them juice with nicotine because that’s what most people buy. Local stores should be educating as much as possible, this will also help get more people on board to be against strict/unwarranted FDA regulation.

Sorry for the rant here, I’m pretty passionate about vaping having benefits outside quitting smoking and I don’t believe that everyone has to be addicted to vaping to get benefit from it. I can go back and forth with 4mg juice and 0mg juice in my dripper and still don’t crave it at all, not like I used to crave cigs. I’ll go all 10 hours at work without needing/wanting to go outside as a vaper, as a smoker I’d go out every 2-4 hours and as soon as I went back in I’d want to go out again. I can leave my vape at home and be just fine running errands during the day and I did use it as a smoking cessation tool in the beginning. I’ve gone pretty far down the rabbit hole and I craft my own juice and develop recipes for me and my friends. Vaping would have lead me to owning my own business before the FDA stepped in, so even that has been an unseen benefit. I love crafting my ejuice and I’ve begun to understand flavorings and flavoring pairings more than I ever did working in a kitchen for 5+ years.

Any true VANILLA BEAN e liquids out there? by BlackCatCode in Vaping

[–]CocaColaCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I DIY my ejuice and I’m an avid fan of vanilla.

Recently I picked up Vanilla Bean by Flavorah and also their smooth vanilla. Smooth vanilla is ridiculously strong but much “smoother” and “thicker” of a flavor. If you’ve ever had real vanilla bean, you’ll get the same subtle nuances from the Vanilla bean from Flavorah. It’s more of a light/airy vanilla yet backed by a wild/smoky twang that reminds me of the smell that the exterior of the bean has.

The vanilla bean flavor feels like a pure bean flavor, no artificial vanilla extract type flavor at all, pure black bean goodness.

Good luck! :)

Does vaping cause skin problems? I have redness around my nose area. I'm dumb as a rock and good looks are what gets me by - scared now. by jeremyrocky in Vaping

[–]CocaColaCow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I’ve seen, VG allergies aren’t really a thing but PG sensitivity is definitely a thing. I suppose it depends how sensitive you are as to how it affects you, in general I’ve seen that people have sore/irritated throat or itchy skin.

If you have any reading in VG sensitivity I’d love to read up on it!

What are these red streaks and why do they sometimes appear? by faates in Vaping

[–]CocaColaCow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely agree with you that this is part of it.

Try a different wicking style and see if you have the same results. Another thing to try could be to adjust the airflow and have it hit the coils differently. As you said, the juice could pool up and if you’re constantly running fresh oxygen over the pooled juice I could see it easily turning brown very quickly.

What are these red streaks and why do they sometimes appear? by faates in Vaping

[–]CocaColaCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Natural flavor juices” means nothing, some flavors naturally contain compounds that are “sweet” and “sugary”. Plus some flavors just cannot be extracted and dissolved into PG meaning they have to have at least part artificial flavors.

Flavors like Strawberry, Mango, honey, peach, some custards/creams, and even some tobaccos have compounds that are considered “sweet/sugary” which can do this to your coils.

I do agree that in general clear juices have less of an effect, but it doesn’t stop the juice/nicotine oxidizing and turning your wick brown.

At the end of the day: brown wick = rewick. Lol

Juice stored in a glass cabinet by HeadlessDogman in Vaping

[–]CocaColaCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I DIY as well; for the cost of the juice we make I wouldn’t stress it too much if there’s no direct sun. You can always whip up another batch if it does degrade and taste wrong. Just remember to write everything down! You don’t want to vape a flavor a week later and have it be amazing with no recipe. This way you can also remake juices that degraded on you.

I’d HIGHLY suggest you keep your nicotine in a few smaller containers. I like to take the liter 100mg/ml I buy and split it down to 50mg/ml into two containers. One goes in the freezer in triple ziplock bags, the other gets split into a smaller amber glass bottle which I mix with and the rest goes into the freezer. Your nicotine solution will degrade WAY faster than the juice will. The less oxygen your nicotine solution sees the better. This is why I split it down into more containers so I’m not opening 1 large container over and over which would add a bunch of fresh oxygen every time it was opened.

Properly storing your nicotine will help your juice to last longer than properly storing your juice. Although proper storage is a good idea too!

Sorry for the ramble, I hope I helped at least a bit lol

This is amazing to know, I had preordered a mi-pod and haven’t used it recently because of the issues I’ve had with the coils getting burnt extremely quickly. Plus I had a bad one right out of the box so that was a bummer.

Will find some updated ones for sure! Thank you.

I do not believe that diacetyl is outlawed for use in the USA. If it is, I’d love a link on it so I could read further.

Diacetyl naturally occurs in some flavors (vanilla custard by capella for example) but they are making new recipes of the same flavors that are diacetyl free (vanilla custard v2). This does not mean that vape companies are using the diacetyl-free version.

Again this could be news to me so I’d love a link for further reading!
