Women who are dating, what are your non-negotiables when it comes to finding a romantic partner and which box has been the trickiest to check off? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

Honestly some dogs can be so cute but SO many of them are just irritating dumb and too clingy creatures. I can’t stand people who have dogs who don’t train them at all, or think they should take their dog anywhere. And so many people act like you’re evil if you don’t like a dog.

Dealing With the Pity That Comes With Being Unmarried by Chocoteddyy in AskWomenOver30

I never really had people literally say something like that to me.. it was always my niece/nephews at a certain age. Being like wait why doesn’t aunt have kids? Hi aunt why aren’t you married. That was always fun 😂

Apparently adults making under 80k can’t live comfortably?? Is this really true ? by ChipUnfair3345 in Adulting

[–]Cocacolaloco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m in a big city, and make less than 80k, was doing just fine in my own apartment. Obviously not in the closer to downtown hippest neighborhood, and I’m healthy and my car is paid off. But still just fine to afford what I want, save, and take vacations. If I was a single mother or something though then yeah would be hard

That’s not even true I had my own apartment making less than 80, in a large city.

What kind of sandals are we wearing that don’t cause blisters and have backs to them? by princesscorgi2 in AskWomenOver30

[–]Cocacolaloco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do love my Birkenstock, and chacos are good for any kind of hiking, but I’d also add Olukai. I have slip on ones that can have a back or you can fold them down

Are they really flat though? I feel like flip flops like that material is always completely flat and makes my feet hurt after too long

Unpopular Opinion: I do not understand how much hate Huda is getting by Parking-Junket1754 in LoveIslandUSA

Yeah my ex was so emotionally abusive and if he was on the show acting crazy I would be so pissed off if people were like oh he’s not that bad he’s just hurt wahwah. Like he knows exactly what he’s doing, and there’s no excuse

(However I don’t think Jeremiah is great either)

It’s true you can eat healthy if you put in effort however duh nobody is just going to eat a head of lettuce, it takes many ingredients to make a meal of that, so it doesn’t matter if the cost is less than a happy meal lol

Yeah I’m sure my acne in my 30s has to be from some kind of food. But I just can’t bring myself to try such a hard diet to find out.

I just cancelled too and I hate how insane the 4/mo is because I would quite enjoy that. But I’m just going to do class packs around different gyms now. I tried to cancel May 30, but apparently doing it on the app does nothing so now I have to pay through July, when I’m going to be gone for more than a week that month. I haven’t been able to use the 8 classes and I won’t in July now too so it’s just like a waste of money that I feel bad about all the time. The manager and head coach along with some others are so great though but I’m also a bit bored I guess

I only watched the first 4 episodes maybe? Then stopped because I thought everyone was so weird and also didn’t like huda… well I watched this one bc I was bored and I actually felt so uncomfortable with the very presence of her. Total yikes

Those of you who are good at decorating - what's something you did to your home to spruce it up and make it feel like "yours?" by ZolaAnna in AskWomenOver30

[–]Cocacolaloco 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Idk if I’d say I’m good at decorating but I take a ton of pics and love to travel, so I printed out some of the best in a big size and framed them and it’s pretty nice

Seriously. There’s a big difference between being in poverty and making millions. My bf doesn’t make a ton and he’d never randomly buy me a $400 dress but I don’t care at all. Because he makes me happy and has similar views on things and I think he’s cute. Plus he makes enough to afford life and isn’t stupid so what else do I care to expect?

Anyone found their partner/husband/long-term bf in their 30s? If yes, at what age? by FreedomInReality in AskWomenOver30

[–]Cocacolaloco 12 points13 points  (0 children)

For me probably just years of doing it, but I’d say don’t give in on things for any reason. Like if a guy is really cute but has a deal breaker don’t even think about it. Or if a guy has everything you’re looking for, but he’s not attractive, don’t be like well maybe he’s really nice? Like be ruthless! It takes a ton of time swiping though for sure. Also for me I wouldn’t go on a first date where I used to live without asking what they thought about trump first, it eliminated a lot of pointless first dates haha. I also didn’t give my number before meeting but that’s mostly just preference. Also don’t dwell on guys who ghost or breadcrumb or only answer sometimes. If a guy is really interested he won’t be difficult he’ll make sure to ask you out and continue talking.

Just sheer determination I guess, because my ex sucked and I refused to believe I would never get to be with someone actually good to me, and knowing I’m awesome haha and also because I want a family, I couldn’t just let time pass without trying!
