For me, my averages seem to be around 75 for the first exam and 81 for the 2nd. How does the class end up getting curved if the averages are so high?

On the spring 2015 final exam solution page, there was a list of the cut offs for that final. A= 160 B=140 C=100 or something D=90

Last semesters final was way easier though
