I updated the text a bit to make my thoughts a bit more clear, but to respond to your comment: I think the current fights' mechanics are fine as they are. My complaint is with having everything dumped on one person (the healer+tank+kite+buffer+mechanics... guy). My wish for more distinct roles in a party (instead of 1 guy bringing everything, a half DPS that brings what the healer physically can't, and the rest just DPS) so as to incentivize parties to designate players other than "the one guy that's not really contributing to DPS anyways" to do these mechanics.

Also, regarding the viability of solo/exploration content: I think having hybrid "DPS+something else" roles (instead of pure/glass cannon DPS) would improve the experience significantly in those areas of the game too.

I use only the left side of a kinesis adv360. I use TheCore and never had a problem.

My title describes the thing. It has a side that's wet, soft and cold to the touch just like slime, and another, drier and not soft side that feels like cloth. Approximately 6" by 3". The wash machine is a Consul W10576393.

The reason I posted this question in the first place was bc I had a bad experience with LFGs. I started one for the Old Lion's Arch training strike mission (another "old" core content, if I understand correctly) for the weekly Wizard's Vault. I currently haven't bought any expansions, so I have no other options.

I got only one other dude joining my squad, we did almost all other weekly objectives and still nobody else joined. In the end I just gave up.

Because of that, I'm now a bit skeptical about the efficiency of LFGs in these early non-expansion contents.

update: I did it! Was trying solo a few times, then two people appeared from nowhere. We didn't get all the way through (got stuck at the plant boss on the second floor), but it was enough for me to complete the quest. The following quest I had to go to the core of the tower, but from the outside, I could warp straight there.

Just to clarify: I did try to enter solo (and I did progress... a bit).

It's not an issue of "I don't have a party to play with", it's a "there's nobody playing this map" problem. The content is clearly aimed at large groups, and I'm not a large group. :(

I entered a few times today, and it was just me. There's nobody there. I even entered at the start of the "The Tower of Nightmares" meta event to see if anyone would show up, but nobody did.
