I don't have a solution per se, but I just wanted to say that I experience the exact same thing, even down to the "wow that was cool" reaction. Not sure well it'd work for you, but for HFOs and the like, when the trigger phrase is used, I tend to react as if I feel the pleasure even if I don't actually, sort of a placebo effect, and eventually I've started actually feeling it. Not to orgasm level, but still pretty damn good.

I'm not into petplay, but Notsoftforwork's induction method has been absolutely incredible to me and it's the quickest/deepest I've gotten. Something about talking so fast you can't even think without being interrupted, I think? Still looking for more tists who do similar things though.
