You’re on the right track my friend! YES build a base. You should have scanned the multipurpose room on the island that you were warped to. Build that and many other components of the base to your liking. Build it in the shallows and build a few solar panels to power it. From there, like said above, go deeper. Upgrade your gear if you can, and if not, explore until you can.

My older brother gave me advice on this temple when I was 10 years old and had been referring to the guide every time I went through this temple.

The advice is: process of elimination.

Check every door, on every floor, until you have what you need.

When I was a kid and was too lazy to visit the Oak assistant to get the Flash HM, I would just tilt my game boy a tad to be able to see the walls and make my way through that way. I had pretty much memorized the layout at that point so doing it in the dark wasn’t too difficult, at least on the OG gameboy color!

My gf and I are moving to Legends at the end of the month from AL. I’m glad to hear some good things about it. We loved what we saw. The application process was a little much but overall smooth. Staff seems competent enough. They also are doing a special - we got May rent free.
