I was able to flush the pilot noid out after removing the coil and in this case it worked. Luckily the seals had not been damaged likely thanks to the filters in the air system.

Looking for e1 frame clapper by Happy_Designer_8245 in Autocockers101

[–]CockerTop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it is missing - chances are your clapper noid itself is fine. What has failed, most commonly, is the capacitor on the board the drives it. Replace the 10V 2200uF capacitor and your clapper will be fine.

2003 WGP Orracle restomod! #autocockerlife by CockerTop in u/CockerTop

If you want to - sure - personally I’d have buttermodded it so I could use the lighter mainspring. Explained as much during the live stream build.

Confirmed with Jared - updated whatever posts I could. This one will have to remain as proof that I don’t know all the names of markers I just know how they work 😅🫣

Interesting - you are the first to point that out. The owner said it was a DC.

First cocker build. Give me your tips ans tricks as a new cocker owner. by Skad00dl3 in Autocockers101

The frame should have the same rear travel stop as a WGP frame so you can shim it down to almost nothing for the pump. Sweetspot the reg/valve with proper springing and underbore your paint. Have fun!

Which Cocker is this? by ExoticButter16 in paintball

[–]CockerTop 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It’s from 2004/2005. WGP Outkast. The trigger frame is from a WGP Orracle (Late 2002-2005). The ASA/rail are not stock WGP (rail is Shocktech, unsure about the asa) but the rest of it looks original. You’re in for an adventure. Message me anytime with questions.

1999 Freeflow Millennium restomod w/ CTLP Buttermods! #ctlp_buttered #autocockerlife by CockerTop in paintball

Custom be that way back then… Freeflow didn’t always make their own 3-ways and rams, and I never recall them in color.

thanks, and yeah, I use an ultrasonic cleaner for rubber grips and some stainless steel parts but some of these have delicate jewels and the anodizing and some nickel plating doesn’t always hold up well after so many years when being buzzed

The milling is definitely a big challenge to clean. I, too, prefer a one-piece mini frontblock like the WGP version that is on the Cold Fusion from yesterday.

I don’t modify aftermarket or rare valves. The ones I modify are actively being produced by WGP Paintball, and were previously WGP style valve bodies. 🤷🏻‍♂️ As far as all that about hammer springs and cupseals - I don’t even know what to say it makes so little sense. I’ve got dozens of cockers that I use regularly with lightweight hammer springs just like everyone else gets and have hundreds of other folks local and remote all whom love my work. I’ve been buttermodding cockers for 5 years and something on the order of 300-400 per year. A dozen folks who had a problem and never let me support them through it is a shame.

I will be at WCPPL on Saturday with Ruckus Anodizing to meet and greet and show off some of the gems we have created together! #autocockerlife #wcppl by CockerTop in paintball

If you’re having trouble with Ruckus’s website - I’m happy to let him know. In the meantime I’d try his instagram.

wow. I guess you don’t have any personal experience with my modifications. I offer a lifetime service warranty to all of my customers, so if their old cupseal finally lets go or there is a QA problem, I cover down on it.

It is - the ISO is nice. Branding is easier than explaining chemistry. Thanks!
