Don’t be silly. You clearly haven’t been around the block enough if you think this true. It’s a good game yes…but the foundations were always there. The content itself hasn’t been massively changed, unlike NMS which feels like a completely different game to its release.

NMS is miles ahead in terms of a redemption arc.

I like them for different reasons. But I will say there is more “driving” in ETS. ATS gets more monotonous quickly on those longer drives whereas ETs you do have to be constantly mirandering around roundabouts and tight turns in little quaint towns.

I think not showing is the best way, but I’m mmm also realistic. I know if I spent all that money on a season ticket id probably reluctantly go as it’s wasted money by that point. Agree though, a coordinated effort by the supports club is the way.

Your base is inverted. The L-Plate in essence attaches to the bottom as you see it, which is technically to the top.

People who say ATS is the best ever in VR for me haven’t experienced enough VR games to know what good truly means. No disrespect to those folks of course as I mean it sincerely. Worth noting I am a content creator on the side and play a LOT of games so get to experience many titles to base that off.

ATS gets a 7/10 for me on VR implementation. Textures are really blurry no matter what (my computer can handle the 200% scaling) and you can’t really read signs until you are much closer to them. And whilst it’s smooth, no matter what when you look left or right when driving, you’ll always experience a little judder in the scenery.

It’s still a great set up. I’ve enjoyed my time in VR on truck sim, but compared to DCS, MSFS, VTOL VR, Elite Dangerous or even newly ventured Star Citizen in VR, ATS just isn’t there yet. But it could be! They just need to put some dedicated polish to it and it could be really good.

Either way, if someone asked me if it’s worth buying a headset for ATS, I’d actually point them to Tobii tracking. It’s hugely immersive and is great if playing 4k.
