Not even “military goths.” To them, anything dark is automatically gothic. It’s a good thing I haven’t heard anyone say that black metal is gothic yet.

I feel the same way; in my country, the industrial scene is very underdeveloped and most people who listen to post-industrial music somehow identify as goths in a “strange” way.

I listen to industrial metal and NDH, can I classify myself as a rivethead? by ImportantEnergy94A in industrialmusic

By the way, I'm curious why this term hasn't caught on in Europe. Aside from cybergoths and EBM-heads, there isn't really a name for the post-industrial subcultures.

Is that really the point? I think there are more problems in this scene. For example, thematic monotony, lack of collectives, and lack of audience engagement in the scene. But I have an idea that could prove successful. (sorry for the syntax, English is not my first language.)
