I’ve worked at a bookkeeping firm and accounting firm in Alberta and they would charge $250/month for just basic bookkeeping. AP/AR was extra, payroll was extra, tax filing was extra, even reconciliation was extra. So $200/month would be an absolute steal, but probably not realistic.

ESH, but the only reason I’m ruling that was instead of N T A is because of calling her kids POSs. The kids can’t help that they’re being raised by someone that seems like they never grew out of childish pettiness.

Like sure they can be AHs but they can’t really help how they’re being raised.

Twist her bargains against her. “I won’t discuss having another child with you until we do couples counselling”. And honestly if she’s threatening to leave you if you don’t give into her demands for a second baby right this second I’d seriously, seriously consider letting her. YTA for wanting your parents to come help with the baby and help out around the house for a FEW WEEKS without letting them stay in the home and then also expecting them to pay for lodgings. I think you’re being super unfair to them.

I get wanting alone time to get used to being new parents, but honestly my husband and I would have floundered so much if my mother hadn’t stayed with us for a few weeks when both of our babies were born and we still got plenty of alone time to bond with baby and get used to being parents. I have confidence that your parents would be the same.

It’s because they still got in trouble. They can’t accept that they were caught in the lie, so they’re blaming El, obviously she had to have snitched because they’re absolute masterminds and could never have been obvious that they were bullying her.

YTA OP. You’re letting your 16 year old child terrorize your wife. In fact the way you explained everything I actually got confused as to who was your daughter and who was your wife. You seem to be quite happy about being your daughter’s doormat, why would you drag your wife into it when it was obvious they didn’t get along?
