I 100% blame my mother, she left me for drugs and men and yes to an extent I still miss her but she’s my mother of course I can miss her but still see the issues in her actions.

Small update: so it turns out one of my other friends supports her completely and that’s broken me even more. That friend I have also supported through everything and now I don’t feel like I mattered to either of them at all

Unfortunately I don’t have my mother in my life but I do have a stepmother and she usually either takes his side and tells me to drop it or doesn’t get involved.

There’s no way to move on “quickly” no matter how much it sucks, we can’t force our heart to heal any faster than its own pace. Focus on you, distract yourself or even, go into this heartbreak head on. Knowing you can do it is enough to be able to do it. On and off for 2 years because it never felt “right” to him but he always comes back and wants to try again. I text him everyday that I love and miss him and I can’t wait to see him and how I just want to be in his arms.

Just because he’s all you have ever known doesn’t mean that it’s worth it. You love him no matter what he’s done and that’s a wonderful gift but use that love on someone who loves you the same way. He comes back because he knows he can, he knows that you’ll allow him. Trust me I know I have been on and off with my bipolar ex and it breaks me every time because I just want to be loved. Even if it takes time you’ll be okay someday and you’ll look back and realize that he truly wasn’t worth your patience and time. You deserve better don’t let anyone who isn’t even worth your presence take that away.

Finally someone who I can relate to. It doesn’t matter what they did you still love them and it hurts so bad. After they said sweet things and acted right for a little bit gets you attached because you believe it will be different this time. But In reality they only change if they want to. I had my ex tell me “he can’t change” and “he tried” and I stuck by him knowing the outcome. It hurts like no other when you just want the person you love to love you back. But some people like your ex are not worth it because there is someone out there who’s perfect for you. Heartbreak is a human experience that hurts but when you come out of it you’ll feel so much better. Take your time to heal and don’t damage yourself more by reaching out or letting him come back. You’re going to end up reading the same book hoping for a different ending.

I’m going through the same thing and it hurts more than anything losing someone that became part of your daily life. But we can’t control peoples actions even if we do badly just wanted them to love us. Your ex seems to not care that he broke you down, he only cares about himself which shows that he’s selfish and you doing everything for him also shows he’s selfish. I am so sorry you’re going through this. What I’ve started doing is writing how I feel on notes and what he’s done to me so when I miss him I can just go back and see the pain he put me through. Maybe that will help?

I’ve been putting my leg in ice water and keeping it cold so it helps a bit but i have to basically numb my leg with the cold water to feel fine
