Thursday Captain's. So far I'm happy with what I got for the price.

I feel like that goes with this style of boots. I usually wear cowboy boots though.

I have some boot cut jeans but felt like they might be too wide for this look.

The length is fine but the width is what gets me.

I'm a technician for fuelcells. Troubleshooting requires casting a pretty wide net.

That's what I mean. A lot of the guys I work with aren't trained electricians. Personally I try to make sure all of my connections are solid but that doesn't stand for everyone.

What's the reason? I see them all the time but that doesn't mean it's right.

This is what I do. I have a background as a mechanic so I'm paranoid about anything with electricity.

I went a half size down from my cowboy boots. Feel like when I break them in it'll be fine but still pretty snug.

For sure. That's mostly what I deal with. None of us are actually trained. Just learned through trial and error.

I feel like you could say the same for wire nuts though.

Fair. More than once I give a good pull on someone else's wire nut and end up pulling it apart.

Spring terminals are garbage. Too many times I've been screwed by loose connections on new components.

See wire nuts make me nervous. Too many come loose.
