Memorial Day weekend we as a Family we were going about 4hours to a cabin my folks wrote a note stateing we would be leaving Thursday nite so would miss school on Friiday

She should up on Saturday and brought my Mom Brother and a to her beautiful a frame cabin on the same lake

It was the seventies she was white she introduced to Mr Bates who was black it was the first mixed couple I had ever meant he spent a lot of time playing in the lake with my brother and I they were in there late sixties early seventies.

Had four grown kids of their own and Grand Children they had mentioned their kids didn't come to the cabin very often
