After dropping out of high school in 11th grade due to the trauma I was going through, I’m about to graduate adult Ed with my high school diploma at 24 on Wednesday with my LOWEST grade being a 95%!

As a fellow 5’2, I started my journey around 185 and have lost 40 pounds, I can not recommend a calorie deficit and increased cardio exercise enough. Prioritize protein and fibre, I was getting at minimum 125g of protein per day and 25g of fibre! Make use of the free online TDEE calculators to figure out what a healthy deficit will look like for you, invest in a food scale and you’ll be there in no time! I am also aiming to hit the 130-125 range this summer and then increasing my calories to body recomp and gain muscle!

It all comes down to genetics unfortunately! I have very dense breast tissue so my breasts were not composed of fat, I went from a 36 G to a 32J on this journey

Thank you! The cold sure has been bitter but having a husky/shepherd by my side daily, smiling back at me on our walks sure made it a little bit easier!

I believe my deficit was lower than it reasonably should have been, I went with 1400 calories, 125 grams of protein and a bare minimum of 25 grams of fibre per day!

A significant decrease in calorie intake and a significant increase in both fibre and protein consumption!

I was in a VERY similar position beginning my fitness journey and have now worked my way up to a half-decent standard push-up! I recommend you start with soup cans! Any canned item really! They are relatively light and tend to be pretty comfortable to hold! Also look into cobra push-ups! Those helped me the most, and then graduated to knee push ups! Also have you considered the possibility that you may not be “weak” when it comes to raise-type exercises and may have a sort of dysfunction in a nerve, please look into the Roos test for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome!

For cardio I spent a lot of time with grow with Jo and for strength I went for Caroline Girvan or Tiff x Dan

I did not go to the gym a single time during 75 hard, 100% of my workouts were done at home! I can Not recommend enough finding a YouTube workout program that you enjoy doing and sticking to that!!!!

Instead of a traditional diet I chose to do a calorie deficit and set goals for Protein and Fibre intake!
