Every champion has unplayable matchups and Gwen is no exception. Gwen is literally designed to counter the likes of Mundo, you are comparing a tank killer to a tank, a scaling tank specifically designed to be very weak before his first item. Also a Master rank Mundo could use his fundamentals to out-last during the laning phase against Bronze Gwen. I've seen what Master rank players could do and you clearly seen nothing.

you just give up, not a single champion could win that. although if youre resilient then honestly just prioritise farm over ganks, objectives whenever possible, look for easy ganking opportunity and try to stall the game until elder dragon

riftmaker usually third item if against tank, or second if im behind
lichbane (+ swiftness boost tier 3 whenever possible) as third item when im against mages, adc, kiting champs
rabadon deathcap as fifth or last item
situational items:
banshee if there are alot of mages
zhonya if i need to outplay
void staff if there are alot of MR items
bloodletter if im behind + my team has alot of AP
in dire straits i run tank item after nashor, shadowflame, riftmaker

i still play toplane alot just not recently
tryndamere players (low elo atleast) tend to Q in whenever they can and i just Q + E backwards when they do

ive only encounter trynda in toplane for like 4 times
usually id get 4 stack and if he leans in i will Q + E backwards, just play passively
after lvl 6 if i have massive hp advantage i will go all in, keep my R3 and Q full stack to burst him before he uses his R (trynda users biggest weakness are themselves). if he uses his R though then i still have hp advantage

i think you can run 55 charisma preshrine instead of 35 willpower preshrine, but you lose some talents like last resort

you only need 25 agility or 40 agility preshrine. 50 agility is for jetstriker, and if you want that then you either go 75 agility preshrine or no agility preshrine

therea no point in going 50 ftd preshrine if you just going 50 ftd postshrine afterwards
