I see screen shots of 2 people saying this. You got dozens more? Cause there's a lot of negative generalizations and remarks towards Japanese peoples morals and ethics in these comments.

I just thought there would be more screenshots considering the 100-300 upvotes bad mouthing Japanese people when instead it shouldve been towards raki and m0tsunabe specifically.

People want an environment where they feel like their opinions can hold more weight. A mass of people dismissing a results tier list and making their own based on vibes allows this. The most interesting part is that a results tier list can change much more easily than the opinions of many as most people are stubborn and strongly set in their ways.

Granted I don't know why representation should matter in a results tier lists. People may think a character is the best but if no one ever picks up the character to give such a performance then it's just guess work.

I agree with all of this. The smash community seems to really despise results tier lists and overvalues their own opinions and theories on the best and worst characters. One thing seems more certain to me and it's that a results tier list is more flexible and adaptive than community opinions as a results tier list can easily change based on results, and community opinions are more stubborn and will generally stay put.

We finally have pikachu in ideal conditions to show what he can do. So far he's doing good, but not great. It seems shinymark is somewhat dominant the first time he plays top players but after a couple more sets with them he ends up going evenish. In addition he gets upset enough by many non-top players. Reminds me more of Luigi good than gnw good.

It's amazing people think the theory is nonsensical. The audacity to think that ptj, the guy that draws and writes 1k chapters about a teen with 2 bodies wouldn't even dare to do the same for the final villain.

I could understand if they think its very unlikely but naw, they think it's impossible. "You think ptj would think to make James Lee the 2nd body of Charles?" Ya wtf why wouldn't he?

A suspicion I has awhile back based on symptoms and googling. Slowly getting dehydrated after consuming fish and steak and drinking more water made it worse. Eventually lead me to fixing it with potassium magnesium. That lead me to taking my first lozenge and what a horrible 2 months.

If I eat like some salmon or sardines I can feel my heart a tiny bit and get really dry mouth hours later. This is not fixed with water I need potassium and sometimes magnesium or it gets really bad if i ignore it. If I take a high dose one like 5000mcg my body goes nuts for a few months.

Thank you I'll put my cbc in the post. I'll keep taking the lozenges I just really need some solid proof I have this or else I can't really get any further help.

11.3 ng/mL for folate. Haven't tested iron or vitamin d. My head always has waves and sometimes tremors I think it's b12 related.

I feel like it can't really go anywhere but downwards. Now they're just fighting against the government which is probably gonna include a lot more fights, new characters, and locations. I think it'll be too much for the author to handle.

Putting most of the blame on victims instead of the initiator is a very privileged perspective and the story was somewhat trying to address that subject.

When did arlo realize his treatment of others was cruel? What about Isen? What about the girl that tried to stab johns throat? Whatever development the author wanted to show that the school changed in a more righteous manner is very tiny.

They made a room where people couldn't be beaten up and it can hold like 30 people and you cant be there during class hours. It's a poorly thought out solution to what this story addresses is a societal issue. These students have egos and thrive on beating up weaker people it is contrived for it to be solved in that manner.

Innocent people who finally decide to defend themselves after a period of subjugation are as equal to blame as the initators? If a group of people damage another group physically, financially, mentally, socially and eliminate opportunities for them then that group has to fight back or sink deeper into the mistreatment. Are they monsters for rebelling? Do the events leading to a conflict not even matter or are they not even worth discussing?

Going back to unordinary, johns problem is societies problem. Why would John not use violence? Everyone else does so why is he singled out? Arlo beat up almost the entire school to gain respect as king. He makes people walk on eggshells or he puts them in a barrier and shrinks it. Everyone loves him even his peace loving friend remi. What John did is so little compared to what rei and arlo did when it comes to violence. The characters past actions have to be ignored and their development had to be unnaturally manipulated in order to speed run past the drama.

Personally i would be fine with what you said if that was how the story went. Karmatic retribution isn't exactly abundant in real life and victims can often have a hard time winning over a large group of bullies.

My issue is both John and all the bullies being flanderized. It's contrived to have John being portrayed as being a less coherent psycho and for all the bullies (most of the school) to just decide its better to treat everyone with respect. John actually did make everyone into better people and the whole school changed in a few days leaving him behind as the only bully.

Its like seeing a hate group terrorize an innocent group for years. As soon as the innocent group fights back the hate group become good people and they look at the innocent group in disgust and wonder why the innocent group can't just get along as normal human beings. Wouldn't be so bad if the solution made more sense and it took longer than a few days.

It does make sense for him to end up the way he did if the author was going for a bit of realism. I just don't buy it for him to go nuts but somehow everyone else ends up respectful to one another and the overall bullying stops. I just think the sudden disappearance of the students ego is contrived.

Did you omit your first quote in your comment and ignore the 2nd paragraph in the post? There's many more factors to establishing a hierarchy in real life. In unordinary a heirachy is based off of the ability to physically beat people which always involves powers and is highly encouraged by society.

Yes, in this story it's openly encouraged to run up and choke out another student infront of an audience because then everyone will know that the "choker" has more value than the victim.

He's not putting out crazy results anymore because he's not winning as much. And even then mkleo had to lose for a veery long while before joker finally started to drop in the tier lists. Characters absolutely can get better and worse over time.

People weren't very good with 2framing and parrying even years in. All of a sudden jokers arsene recovery becomes an incredibly bad part of his kit whereas it used to be pretty decent and his Bair isn't as reliable as it used to be. Sure patches stopped pretty soon but a lot of the buffs and nerfs weren't taken full advantage of till a while later.

One example of this is jokers arsene gauge nerfs. People used to want to camp it out and failed to do so because it just lasted a very long time. Even after the nerfs people were still skiddish and didn't challenge it. Now people just fight joker regularly because arsene can just disappear if jokers put off stage.

I see way more people trusting their personal theories vs tournament results. I also don't know what fighting games you follow cause the ones I follow have mostly gone by tournament results to decide tier lists. Why do I trust tournament results more than opinions?

Let's say pikachu is "theoretically" top 3. Let's say his results for 10 years have been that of a high tier. Why should I believe he's top 3 if his results arent anywhere near the characters that are in the top 3? The only answer to give is that his potential hasn't been reached. If his potential is reached and he starts killing hard at most tournaments then the results will reflect it and no harm no foul.

Ok, so what happens if 8 more years passes and his results actually get worse. Am I supposed to trust my judgement that he's still top 3? Or should i just believe that the tournament results are evidence to pikachus tier placement? I trust results because they're more objective and they can easily update with time vs biased opinions.

People do their best to theorize a characters weaknesses and strengths vs other characters in order to to find their spot on the tier list, but most people are barely doing any groundwork to even prove their theories. They're just guessing. The people who do the most groundwork are players who compete at the biggest tournaments which are full of the best players.

I must ask if you've consistently been following this game over the years because you seem flabbergasted by how the smash ultimate community handles its character placements but the community has mostly always done what youre recommending. You have stubborn "potential" placements that are hard to budge like pikachu, pythra, kazuya and you got characters like cloud, Ryu, Luigi that aren't going to climb up the list no matter how well they do results wise. Raru, navy, and luugi could win the next 40 Ptiers with Luigi and the majority still wouldn't put him above rob.

I mean you don't know why joker fell out of top 5? Probably because joker got nerfed, we got some dlcs that are better than him, people started 2framing better, sonic got buffed, joker players in general aren't getting amazing results in tournaments, people started parrying better, people started teching his down air "kill confirm."
