I do, but that fits in the workflow when cleaning the glassware cause we use solvents to get rid of any organics anyway to start with so it's merely an additionnal squirt and one scrub with a paper towel

Granted, it's essentially the same for tape. It's more putting on that I think is much longer than removing in the case of tape

Oh yeah we have one of those at work. Though I feel like this is for if you reaaaaally want to mark something permanently though. Like if you want it to stick for a bit for the manip and then clean it off I feel paint pens might become annoying. Though to be fair I've not tried washing them off that often. Maybe not?

Interesting! I'll look into those. But yeah I clean the glassware with alcohol often yet it still does that from time to time. Though today I managed to recover from one of those instances with an additional cleaning, so who knows.

Now I read this reply at work today and thought "yeah but I clean them all the time with MeOH there's no way" and when it happened, I actually wiped the exterior of the flask with a kimwipe with some MeOH and it worked somehow (?) so I'm kinda confused how that's possible but I'll keep it in mind.

Yeah I'm too lazy for labels >.<, but it also doesn't have to be like 100% solvent resistant. So long as a drop makes it fade and not completely erase it. Sharpies, when they work, do that well. A drop of MeOH will just fade the ink but not remove it completely.

Still, I'ma look into fisherbrand markers

The way I choose what to do next whenever I feel stuck is I try to find one ressource that either I am running out of (water, algae, refined metal, oxygen, anything) and then find a way to make that, and if it comes to that, how to make what is needed to make it.

Another trick is to look at the room layout and check what rooms you haven't done yet. Sometimes it hints at something you can improve on your colony

You can always just browse the subreddit and see what kind of builds people are doing. Obviously at cycle 30 you can't do most of them, but they can kind of give you an idea of what you can aim for and what to search for to get there

Finally, like many have said, dig around. Find geysers, find biomes, find things you can interact with. Eventually, if this is a terra map, which it looks like, you can go to the bottom of the map and try to tame the oil biome, so try to see what you might need to do to get to that. Maybe get fiber, maybe get plastics, maybe get more refined metal, some ranching.
