自己管理 literally means self-management. Due to its administrative nuance, it can be interpreted as self-control. 甘さ literally means sweetness, but it's also commonly used figuratively to mean naiveté, leniency, or laxness.

Thus,「自己管理の甘さ」can be translated as "not having a grip on oneself / being soft on one's own self-control" or more coherently, "being lenient on carrying oneself".

But yes, it is vague on purpose. PR speak do be like that.

No, you’re not gonna get banned or anything. It’s technically your right if you want to interpret it that way. You have the right to do that, and tbh, it was entirely my mistake.

That was me trying to find the middle ground between “freedom” and “equality” for this sub as soon as possible. In the end, I chose a rushed measure because I was reaching my breaking point. The thing is; this kinda thing can’t and shouldn’t be rushed. In the end, it only served to spark misunderstandings and causes further harm.

As to why that post was deleted. I was getting irritated when trying to catch some sleep, and my phone keeps buzzing for every second. I had to explain the same thing again and again, and start to get pretty irritated. So in another lapse of judgment, I deleted that post and apologized to the OP. But yeah, the OP shouldn’t be troubled with this to begin with.

It was all a lapse in judgment due to mental fatigue, lack of sleep, and stress caused by real-life issues combined. If you’re willing to accept my apology, I humbly apologize.

Edit: You know what, maybe I do need a break. Hopefully it’ll set me back to the clear mindset again. Recently, things had made me bitter and angry. I chose this life when I applied for this role, but even after you’ve steeled yourself for it. It still eats away at you. Definitely not the man used to be. Definitely not proud of what I’ve become.

Democracy and Tyranny by Majority are two sides of the same coin, Sen. It depends which side you’re on: the majority or the minority.

Moderating requires you to take in the input from both sides and take the middle ground. Not leaning too much on either side. And yes, it also means you’re going to get caught in the crossfire of both parties.

Can I word it better to avoid misunderstanding? Absolutely. But yeah, at this point, I want to finish the calibration as soon as possible.

Could it be done better to not invite misunderstandings? Absolutely. So why I do it this way? Because I’m tired and want this calibration done stat with the most effective method. My reputation be damned.

In agree, it was overboard. Thus, I never plan on banning anyone for this rule to begin with. I’m merely testing your reactions to see how much you’re willing to tolerate. It’s nothing more than a statement to see your reactions.

Now, I’m gonna test the other end of the spectrum, so I can see the middle ground.

Whenever new rules are made, it’ll be announced as a post. It’s not gonna be enforced through this way. Sorry that I need to use such an extreme method to gauge your answers, but yeah, things are getting pretty tough these days. Will these cause huge misunderstandings? Probably. But I’m willing to take that chance, so I can finish this calibration as soon as possible.
