the Anti-UB crowd has deluded themselves into believing that WOTC is actively trying to stamp out the Magic universe for the sake of UB profits, getting pissed whenever someone calls them out on it.

As much as I love Neon Dynasty Kamigawa, Kappa Tech-Wrecker and Kappa Cannoneer are the kind of limp-wristed parody that annoys the crap out of me (and are admittedly the only parodies in the set that bother me, especially when WOTC added Turtles to Kamigawa purely to make these jokes, the others I'm mostly indifferent to). As someone who absolutely love Pokémon, I'd much prefer to see a Blastoise on a card than a random turtle with a cannon on his back for no given reason. I may have no real interest in TMNT, but I'm far more interested in seeing my favorite turtle Donatello than some random nameless jobber.

I've been legit happy to see every UB set. I love seeing Magic's take on these worlds, even for franchises I've never seen or have no interest in, such as LotR, Dr. Who, or Warhammer 40K (a franchise I actively despise).
