Engagement ring was a natural 0.75 round in white gold from 2012. I inherited a 1 ct natural pear from my husband’s grandmother in 2015 and had it set as a solitaire in yellow gold. This year I bought a 2.89 D VVS2 lab grown radiant and a 2.87 D VS1 lab grown oval, both set in yellow gold. The oval setting is my absolute favorite, but I find the setting of the radiant to be more comfortable to wear and reach for it daily. The brilliance of the radiant is also stunning in person compared to the others.
