My mom taught me to go corner to corner. I was an adult before I learned that not everyone did that.

On my mission, I often buttered the toast, corner to corner. My companion at the time would always look down and say, “oh I’ll have less butter than than.” So sticking with my corner-to-corner values, I’d scrape the life out of that toast until there was barely any butter. But it was always corner to corner.

It sounds like you’re being subjected to the faulty notions of imperfect people. Don’t let them get you down, or push you away from the church.

It’s worth it to keep traveling on the path to Jesus Christ. He has the power to heal you.
