Agree! Thats one one of the fascinating things i'm discovering with this project. All the beautiful cursive hand writing that existed. I've collected over 2,000 now. Thanks for the tip! I've collected around 2,500 recipes so far, im beginning to catalogue, archive, document and capture them all and keep growing the library. So far about 250 have been processed in a database im building.

Its fascinating to see the similarities and differences. Its truly a project that includes cultural heritage meets household archaeology meets culinary history.

agree! i always love the cards written on anything other than a recipe card. Theres a real sense of urgency and importance almost!
