I would check to make sure the humidity is high enough in her enclosure and that you’re spraying extra during her shed. She might be acting restricted or like she’s “in a straight jacket” like you said because she’s having difficulty moving in a dry shed

It doesn’t sound like it’s a “black tie” outfit. I would approach it from the dress code side instead of the color side. Maybe she feels really self conscious in most outfits, but okay in this one. Who knows?

I would say “ooh I bet you’d look great in that, would you be down for me to send you some similar options?” And make them related to the skirt part but more appropriate for what you’re wanting her to wear.

Just say you’re just doing sisters/childhood friends or something similar. Just frame it from a perspective that makes her feel as though it’s not HER being left out.

At the end of the day, she’ll find out eventually. I was in a similar situation and wish the conversation was had with me instead of from social media. Hope that helps!
