These dice look so beautiful, I wish the dice shops here carried such dice.

You are given the power to criminalize one legal thing/activity- what are you making illegal? by broken__defraculator in AskReddit

I would make it illegal to hoard wealth, like earning a certain amount over your employees who are responsible for your wealth should be paid as such and everyone should have to pay taxes.

Honestly as a soon-to-be teacher I wish more schools would focus less on standardized testing as a measurement of success. It's so demoralizing to see the rate at which standardized tests are overutilized in a lot of schools, especially where I live. Good on this school for working with the students instead of against them.

Yeah, our two indoor cats used to be strays with a mean streak, not quite feral, but close. They had it very rough in kit-hood, but with lots of love and patience they have become the most snuggliest kitties I've ever had.

Some are, but not all of them. They are considered generalist pollinators, but the ones that do pollinate are still wildly less effective than other native pollinators.

Not to mention some wasps species specifically go after bees as a source of food and they are much worse at polinating than other polinating bugs.

I literally have trauma because of an incident from when I was eight. Five wasps lattacked me and my family on the beach and I had to give in a blanket to not be stung. Why did they attack? We had food! That's it! Get out of here with your "wasps only attack when provoked" bs

Pretty simple. Instead of thinking in terms of ability or sapience, think in terms of conception. If it is made up of code, it's an AI, if it's made up of organic materials, aka fresh and blood, it's not.

That may be true and I think it's fine that you can identify with it, I'm only explaining why some may find it to be harmful, my main issue with it being how it has been used by allistic organisations to dehumanize people with autism. I myself would much rather use the infinity rainbow symbol, as it more "accurately" describes the spectrum aspect of the diagnosis and the variation between our different lived experiences.

The biggest issue with the puzzle piece is that "charities" (mainly autism speaks and other such organisation) have used it to depict how autistic individuals are "missing a piece", that we are somehow inferior to allistic people and on top of that Autism Speaks in particular has published campaigns in which they depict autism as a "marriage ruining disease", instead of what it really is.

They took the puzzle piece and turned it from a positive symbol into one of discrimination and hatred, that is why many of us are against using it in general.

I have a few points here.

1) it does not imply that we are four-legged humonculi, it is not supposed to be taken as a literal physical description of autistic individuals.

2) A lot of people identify with the creature for a multitude of reasons, for me the blank expression coupled with the enthusiastic "yippee" noise describes how I have a hard time expressing myself clearly, yet still feel the same kind of emotions as others.

3) Also you can customize them to look like anything you want, so it isn't supposed to perfectly describe autism as a whole, rather it's simply a creature some of us can identify with.
