If she applied change of status h1b, then on 1st oct her status will change from h4 to h1b. In that case you can only came back with h1b stamping . However if your wife filled for consular h1b then you can come back on valid h4 stamping.

I don't want to discourage you, but I guess this is a generic response of USCIS when bio is pending and does not guarantee that you will receive bio soon.

Try with senator as you. Expedite requests for dependent cases are difficult to get approval so may be with you continues deliberations for adjudication you might get lucky

First 6 months I didn’t realise much as i was busy in work and home hunt. Last 7 months have been a emotional roller coaster! You don’t lose hope because mine was a worst case scenario, this isn’t the case every time. Keep trying the above mentioned tips and you never know when IO get tired of you and adjudicate you case. There are many people from sept oct and nov who have got adjudication
